Front caliper securing bolts torque
I know that it's a jag, and I know you are trying to be perfect, but in over thirty years, I've never seen a tech put a torque wrench on a caliper bolt. If you really want to I'd use about 35-40 foot pounds. (I go by bolt diameter) You don't have to slam them down but you don't want them to back out either. A bit over 35 is reasonable and should not damage anything and will keep them secure!
I have no idea what nm conversion is..
Oil light on
If you hear no knocking or ticking then replace the oil pressure sensor. Also connect a pressure gauge and check the pressure during start up and when its warm. If the pressure is low then check and replace oil pump. If that do not solve the problem then eather the cam, rod, or main bearings are shot. That requires a new engine unless you feel that is worth taking and having new bearing put in. That would cost about no less than $1500
2003 xtype airbag light flashes 49 .What is this code?
there is a Code 49 that, along with 51 and 52, cover Front Safety Belt Buckle and Seat Track Position Switches. As X Type belts are 51 and 52, there seems to be a good chance that 49 is the Seat Track Position Sensor on either the Driver's or Passenger's Seats (If it's one of your AWD models) or the Driver's Seat in the Diesel (Not one on the Passenger Seat in FWD cars!) They're rivetted to the seat track, so not so easy to get out! Might just need the connector cleaning up.
