How to jump start a Bentley GTC
The answer you seek is "very carefully".
These cars are complex and very expensive to fix...
It is best not to jump start if it can be avoided as the potential to damage sensitive electronics is much greater than removing the battery and fully recharging or replacing it.
If the battery isn't completely discharged it is wise to connect a slave battery and memory saver before disconnecting the main battery.
If the memory saver and slave battery isn't available it is just about permissible to charge the main battery while it is connected. Use a low powered charger with a surge protector, an rcd and an avalanche diode protection device connected across the battery.
Bentley Azur 1996 will turn over but won't start seems, like fuel starvation. checked the petrol pump fuse this is ok. Can't heAR pump when putting on the ignition Any Ideas? Is a New Pump a easy fix?
One check you can do is open the fuel cap see if you hear air rushing in when you open it. If so try starting the engine with the fuel filler cap removed if it starts this indicates the filler cap is blocked and either needs cleaning out or replacing. This causes a vacuum in the tank that will starve the engine Also if there is a fuel filter in the system this should be checked/replaced if filter is full of debris then it would be an idea to have the whole fuel system and tank cleaned out. Often with older cars and especially ones that may have been filled from cans in the past if allowed to run too low on fuel will pick up debris from the bottom of the tank.thy these first before outlay on a new pump to test fuel to the engine. Remove or loosen a fuel line from an injector and see if fuel is present when turning the engine. If so then fuel is not the issue. Hope this is useful.
2005 Bentley continental GT a/c/blows hot air. Might be related to recent battery changes.
Has nothing to do with battery changes friend, but everything to do with the amount of charge in your A/C system. Not enough refrigerant makes for not enough pressure to actuate the compressor clutch. Too much refrigerant will also blow warm air. You best take your toy to a dealer or A/C expert or take your chances on adding more refrigerant until it works just right.
