2006 Forenza goes into every gear but won't move?

is car a stick shift or auto.must be and automatic transso do all shifted selections fail. on the gear shift lever.lever does work right? moves.?and PRNDL.Reverse fail too?and Drive and Low. get car serviced. or if handy....???check levels, fuses and scan it.yet another poster that never heard of or seen a stick shifted car.gee, is it auto or stickin both cases the cable most move at both ends.and move correctly, or it will never shift.have friend shift and you watch at the lever on side of the transaxle, yes, that be like first and logical, right>its just a cable shifter. its FWD as most are.I wont say sounds like, as Im blind here and cant see car, drive it ,feel it or anything.why ask the blind for help.?????if it died moving, seems to me the cable didnt fall off and the trans shift to neutral, but?but your post lack any facts. but died.if car is AT (auto) check levels? for trans.check linkage, yet.check fuses, if it wont shift to 2nd,if manual same checks, level and linkage works.only the Fluid is different and the stick shift has a foot clutch and it can go bad too.a stick shift clutch can fail and slip 100%so , we can not guess what car you are drivingand asking for help when even you dont know that.is over the top.

Transmission sensor problem

there is a transmission sensor on the transmission block, you can see it under the hood on the drivers side right under the waterhose and its called neutral safety switch.when the sensor fails the engene light comes on and the D on the transmission slips. if you want to fix it yourself is very easy if you have some mechanic skills. first disconect the waterhose if you donot want to have any problems later, there are two screws holding the sensor and one nut in the middle, unplug the harness, remove the sensor, get the sensor at the dealership ,plug in the new sensor to the harness and set it to neutral by watching the car gears on dash, set the trany pin to neutral, the teeth on the sensor will find the way in easely by doing this, reconect everything, reset the car computer by disconecting the battery ground cable and stepping on the break pedal a few times for at least one minute, reconect the battery cable and you are done! iam not a mechanic,i just have some mechanic skills and thats how i fixed my suzuki forenza 2007 myself.

It revs to 2500 (rpm) or so then why does it quit or sputters terribly when I let off the gas?

nice double post , why do that? ah now with name. sure. shows no code. well if you drive it and scan it , and flog it up hills id bet it does P0300s... id bet. scanning parked is a near useless, way, unless super lucky. try new spark plugs... or get a full real tuneup do so at least once a decade. I can rev my rpms up to about 2500 before it starts sputtering and wants to quit, and will if i let off the gas

sputtering is called misfire.. means horrid combustion. #1 all time cause, world wide, all gas engines, for 100 years is never getting a tune up. nothing beats this cause, due to driver driving car till it quits or sputters. if low on cash? try new spark plugs... gapping them to spec, not guessing....

Misfiring engine

if some are firing then the voltage is right, something is happening at the cylinders that are not. if you take the spark plug out on a non firing cylinder and leave it connected and hanging from the wire you can turn the engine over and observe the spark, if it sparks then you can rule out the coil.

How do I get access to the horn for replacement?

if dead , you cant find it by listening, right....can you see it? did you look at all angles possible to see it?under hood, and behind that grill. (its there find it)if yes, then you know what needs to be removed. (a deductive least path of resistance and tools)the FSM covers this.or alldata.com (search horn) remove.just 4 bucks to read and learn all steps of things.https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1066-2006-forenza-reno-service-manual.aspxEF 16 fuse blownif you remove the horn relayand hot wire the 87 relay pin socket with 12vdc (use inline 15amp fuse jumper line (per FSM rules or ASE rules... same...)then the horn must honk.!if not the horn base may be just rusty. clean it, or bench test it, first. if behind the grill and there are no panels that come off to get at it or not get to it from underneath car, then the grill needs to come out, some are in the engine bay, front corners.. look there yet.?google work>? Best Answer: it located in front of the bumper cover... my online books do not cover horn. so.... pay 4 bucks. above.my last answer was this.http://www.fixya.com/cars/t25588791-2006_suzuki_forenza_horn_will_not_blowand horns can short. as can its wire.so if the hot wire blows the (tech, fused jumper)then that path is shorted. find your horn, then take a photo of it. and post it?and we can advise how to reach it.i can name 10 locations of horns , on cars.but not this one, its a Daewoo, suzuki wonder box with GM parts stuffed in....ok, my forenza folder has full set of harnessesand bingohere is your horn, seem front grill out to mebut youd need to see exactly how its mounted
