3.7 V6, mileage?most likely the HV wires bad. then bad coil pack.did you check spark directly at the coil pack?i use 2 known good HV wires to do that and 2 good test spark plugs.both plugs grounded to engine (shell)that is how you test any wasted spark coil pack. 3 coil pack.if that fails the FSM shows, unplugging it and check the coil resistances. if wrong the pack is bad, keep in mind the res. can read ok and coil be bad ,due to internal insulation break down (internal shorts)if thats ok. the resistance , make sure the wires are not (primary)to the coil (the low voltage connnector)if that is ok, its mostly likely a bad coil, (pray not bad PCM)if tool-less? start with cheap parts , work to expensive. (guessing)now wasted spark 101.if one line opens , both spark plugs die. no sparkthe wasted spark is wired in SERIES. ( like Christmas lights)the magic cuts cost of 6 coil\'s.so if the HV wires are say, cheap , carbon wire and openyou lose, both spark plugs. use MAG wire and end this issues.get some nice NGK mag wire or Bosch Mag wires.you can see i hate carbon wire. for good causes.(carbon string wire)mag wires is real wire that is coil spun and is inductive. it has the correct impedance but is not a resistor its and inductor.and lasts the longest , and worth every penny.
there are 3 ways to lock.
key metal
on door switches
and the FOB, RKE.
so is this a fob question? key fob? only failure???????
did you know that many fob modes are PROgrammable?
the operators guide tells you how to do that.
did you try both fobs, that came with car new., if not why not?
did you replace the 8 year old fob batteries, no , why not now.?
on my 08 (for example) :
can program it to only open drivers door. or all.
and autolock feature off or on.
on my other car all was worked fine. then drives door failed
to open (all 3 fobs fail, one is new) the door solenoid was bad.
$100 part. now fixed, by me.
so do all fobs fail. if in fact this is a FOB question
RKE (called remote key entry by jeep)
i have 4 fobs for my jeep now. you must have 2 good keys.
to make a 3rd by self.
so keep 2 , never ever used. to be self sufficient.
this is not a door issue, above 3 lines, its a not getting stranded issue.
which one?
and why?
mine has 16 puters. in my JK.
The PCM is reset 2 ways. (3 with bad luck)
1: with any scan tool.
2: pulling the PCM memory fuse. 5min and put back.
3: pulling the battery neg lug, and risk , lost radio and nav pw codes and other issues. all a PITA.
I had a similar problem that could only be sorted by pulling out oem fuse number 32 i think The bottom of the 2 plastic fuse holders. Pull it from fuse slot but not all the way out give it a few seconds then press back in mine would run ok then. I think it reset the BCM which was playing havoc with the start management module.
every car has , switch to latch it on, or even kill it full time .
the operators guide covers this.
some cars have.
a lever side of lamp,(turn to off)
or you push on lens (dome) to turn if off. plush, clickh, ahhhhhhh
if all are on, the head light stack has a dome switch on my new jeep and you turn that off.
if that all fails that means the security switches see a door open
and most jeeps show in dash error, "DOOR ", for that error, or with EVICs options tells you which door is stuck open , on some cars you can use a scan tool and will tell you which door is faulting. My jeep allows that too. scan errors.
but why not read the operators guide, all this is covered, for every car made, all !!! lost it? get one. and not be stranded for all other easy fixes...... RTM , no RTM twice.
gas engine, not diesel.
its probably flooding, ever give it a 60k mile tune up, ever?
we check spark tips for flooding and dry, never do we guess at fuel pumps, ever. (pressure gauge is $20)
tips dry or soaking wet.
we check for spark , no gas engine car runs with no spark
so we check all cylinders for good spark
if spark is good and flooding (new spark plugs) we use
cranking wide open throttle wot. like the operators guide says.
start now? this cuts all injection, this magic PCM trick.
see scotty ,
1: compresson at spec, 2: spark good and timed. and 3: fueling last.
skip the silly ad.
note he says 2, but he ASSUMES compression is good. (oops)
but his tests are fast, and if it fails to start, see #1 above. ask

If the pump kicks on, then it should be getting to the rail.
Sounds like an immobilizer issue (Not powering the injectors).
Disconnect a hose from the fuel rail inlet point (put it into a bottle or tub) and check if fuel is pumping during cranking.
If you get fuel at the rail, check immobilizer or ECU.
how to, , who can, where to buy? where is.???
why not ask a real question, and not use statement forms???
does both turns sigs and hazzard both fail?
all lamps dead, ? all stuck on, all flashing to fast.
all fuse good?
lost the owners manual ? in glove box , bingo....
http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/jeep/jeep-liberty-owners-manuals/
gas car? not diesel.
page 349? fuse 11 good, flasher fuse?
fuse 39 is also flasher.
06 liberty GAS engine., size unknown
USA , not export.'
answers from FSM.
THERE IS NO RELAY, SORRY !
the combo head switch does IT ALL.
and is in side the SCM, the steering control module.
the fsm covers the replacment.
but do post symptoms and not guess.
why guess.
do the hazards work.?
