Can weak battery cause car not to start

Does it crank ok? If it cranks ok, I doubt it's your battery? Did you try jumper cables? Be careful and hook them up right, if you try cables. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check correct fuel pressure.

My wpers work but fluid wont come out can u help me please

Check the fuse. Make sure the hoses are attached to the reservoir and the nozzle where the fluid shoots out. If these are good, then more than likely you have let the reservoir run too low and now the pump is broken. These plastic reservoirs sometimes crack and could leak dry without you knowing it. You should never activate the pump without fluid in it. Most washer fluid pumps are attached or built into the fluid reservoir. You may have to replace both. If you are handy, and the reservoir is easy to access, you can probably change it out yourself. If larger vehicle parts are in the way, you may want to let a mechanic handle it.

How do i change the brake light

1) You will need to open the rear swing door.

2) On the inside jam there are two torx headed screws (T-15's if I remember correctly).

3) Unscrew the two torx screws.

4) The light is now held by two mounting tabs (small spherical headed plastic sets that go through a rubber grommet).

5) You will need to pry the light casing off (easy pressure with a good size flat head screw driver will do the trick).

6) The light bulbs are twist mount settings inside the light casing.

7) Twist out the mount setting, change the bulbs, and reset the light mountings.

8) To put the light casing push the light casing back on and put in the screws. Everything else will work in reverse when it comes to assembling the whole unit.

My bolt that holds in my antenna has completely stripped of the threading. What is everyones advice should I get a new in dash sound system and antenna or just replace the bolt?

If you have an in fender antenna ( front fender) it should be accessible from inside the guard without removing the fender. You will have to remove the inner splash guard to get to it. Removing the wheel helps a lot to do the job The antenna is held in place in the fender by the silver nut at the base of the antenna just outside the fender.

Why does the traction control randomly activate on my 2006 jeep liberty? It is trying to activate on dry roads with no possibility of slip.

Your not going to get anything on this site, but a guess We are at home like yourself This is just a chat room I can tell you it WILL cost several hundred, possibly a couple hundred, just to find the problem (common sense) If you have enjoyed spending extra money over the years at a dealer & lots of folks do,why not try a local shop that has been in the same location, same owner, same ASE Master techs, for several years Your going to have to pay for scan tool time, just to check the ABS module & component test, to find a problem Why several dealers could not find the issues, I can not say,nor can I help, without the vehicle to work on Your issues & feelings about dealers ! Where they even related to the current abs/trac issue & have they been given a chance to find something,I'm guessing your here out of frustration & not from a failed attempt to resolve the vehicles problem ?

Jeep Liberty 2006 power mirrors stopped working. Looking for fuse..These are not heated mirrors just power. Not fuse 25 or 29..can not find a listing in the owners manual for this.

there are only 2 ways to work this, (besides guessing and diagnosis) the meter motors are dead in all directions, and both mirrors? ?????????????????? the Fsm shows the full schematic, so read that? or test all fuse. (no books no joy, huh>?) fuses are best tested for 12vdc on both sides key on. or using any DMM with ohms. 0 = good infinity = bad. fuses that look bar , are fuse that look good, may in fact be bad, (called hair cracks) $135 CD. https://www.techauthority.com/en-US/Pages/Home.aspx or login to alldata.com for 15 bucks. google that url, and its 1st to find. all mech, know this site, it is the best. (no axe here, just facts and pure experience) 2 ways were: book or use meter. even a $10 walfart meter works, for sure.

Heater fuse location 06 liberty

in the fusebox. there is no such thing , its fan fuse.called blower. if the fan blow hard, and there is no heat in any register using recirc mode, and all vents. then the engine coolant is too low temp. back up one post and read. yes, check coolant temps for over 180f+ if too low that means the engine cooling thermostat is bad. (usually) but are you in Alaska or key west. that be big time useful .

Code u1411 jeep liberty 2006

wow , no engine options stated, or type of driveline.... wow. this is covered in the FSM, read that. it states U1411-Implausible Fuel Volume Signal Received that means to get the car fully scanned, using a real scan tool that sees all 2006, jeep DTC errors. including BCM codes. the manual tells you what to do. here is just small expert from the Factory.serv.manual quote Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 9 - ENGINE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)(Refer To List 1). Theory of Operation The BCM has to send the PCM a fuel volume signal over CAN C. The signal the BCM sends over CAN C is implausible. Diagnostic Test 1. ACTIVE DTC Ignition on, engine not running. With a scan tool read DTCs. Is the DTC active at this time? Yes
  • Go To 2
No Refer To List: 2. CAN C BUS DTCS ALSO ACTIVE With a scan tool check for DTCs in the BCM. Are any CAN C related DTCs active at this time? Yes
  • (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING) for the appropriate diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES/FRONT CONTROL MODULE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)
No -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- that word CAN , means the vehicle network communications buss called CAN. if the PCM can not TALK to the BCM. this can cause the data to be wrong. and the Implausible , data. greek ,huh, get it serviced by any ASE shop in town or if desperate JEEP.
