My 1999 Isuzu hombre odometer not working how to fix???? Asap
if the speedo works, and odometer not then the odometer is bad.
what is VIN/ in what country, so i can look this up.
1999 are transitional year, in USA fed laws on this changed.
on old cars, the speedo cable ran both . so if one dies only
that which died is bad.
in later years, the speedo is run by ECU, from VSS inputs
and obometer is digital and stored in the ECU. (or BCM)
and the cluster is just a digital display and if its dead , then it is dead. this display.
one even newer cars, comm errors on CAN-buss can cause this.
2004 up. but you dont have this bus.
did you scan it first and check all fuses.>?
scan it to see that VSS is wrong, by live data stream, or DTC error, driving for VSS dead.
ill not post details lacking country , as other countries laws vary on ODOMETER TYPES> big time.

What kind of fluid goes in my manual 2001 Chevy cavalier ?
Go to the AMSOIL site and they have a great way to check by your vehicle type. Their products are a little pricey, but worth every penny.
I believe they will recommend GLS. If it's leaking out, really need to get the seal replaced.

p1632 engine performance problem, try this! turn the key to the on position till the security light goes off, takes about 10 minutes then you turn it to the off position and you start it. hope this works for you! good-day!

How do you bleed the
bleed the clutch is similar to bleeding brakes,,make sure your clutch reservoir is full of fluid, locate the slave cylinder on the side of the transmission and locate the bleeder valve on it,,have some one pump the clutch pedal slowly 4-5 times and hold the pedal to the floor, then open the bleeder screw untill the stream of fluid about stops, close bleeder, repump clutch pedal again and reopen bleeder,,don this untill you get no more air and or you have a good clutch pedal,,keep watch of the fluid level so it doesnt run out...

Trying to locate where the
The oil pump is located directly below the distributor, in the oil pan. The oil pump is driven by the distributor but cannot be accessed by removing the distributor - the oil pan must be removed to replace and, I believe, the motor on that model must be lifted to access the oil pan. This is an involved, multi - step job I personally would not choose to do alone as you might wreck the motor accidentally. Many aftermarket repair manuals ( like Chilton's ) have decent directions step by step with illustrations, so I would recommend buying one of these for guidance if, like me, you're not financially gifted.
Good luck!!
p.s.check your local used book stores for the manual - it would be MUCH cheaper than a new one, saving you money for the parts and gaskets you will need.
My Isuza Hombre is very hard to get into first and

I have a 1999 Isuzu Hombre. I guess this is kind
It is not silly First buy a manual from a parts store There should be a bolt on the oil pan don't strip it when you take it out that is the oil drain plug once it is removed the oil will drain. the filter must be change at the same time buy an oil filter wrench and a new filter all parts stores have a book with the right part number for the oil filter. Buy the right amount of oil the manual will tell you how much oil you need, replace the filter first, replace the drain plug put the oil back in do not over fill check the dip stick several times to make sure you do not go over the fill mark, after you have replaced the oil start the vehicle to get the oil into the new filter shut off vehicle and check for leaks around the drain plug and filter no leaks you did a good job. good luck
Not Starting
This could be a bad battery, wiring problem, neutral safety switch or ignition switch. Check wire going into neutral saftey switch for voltage while in crank position. If you have voltage replace neutral saftey switch if not replace ignition switch. Thank you and make sure to rate me. Thanks
1998 isuzu hombre 4X4 4.3 shift hard
Excessive throttle pressure can cause this. Input to the trans is controlled by the computer, but influenced by speed sensors and throttle position sensors. It could be in the valve body as well so you will want to get someone with proper equipment to check it. If you get an expensive estimate, get a second opinion.
