2005 mercury mountaineer where is my power window dues box

dues box ? do you mean fuse box . There are fuses for the power windows in the under hood fuse / relay box ! F1.62 30amp fuse an there is a relay in the CJB - central junction block ,located under the driver side dash panel . Accessory delay relay , first one top left in the fuse box. That's a good place to start ! what if fuse an relay are good ? then what ? do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Do any of your windows work ? The best place to start is the drivers door window switch ! All power to all windows come through that switch .The lite blue with black stripe wire is power wire at the switch !

I had a friend /backyard mechanic change my lower ball joints and LF hub assembly. Now my ABS light is on and the ADVTRAC won't turn on. 05 Mountaineer 2wd. Why?

anytime the suspension system needs to be repaired, its crucial that a wheel alignment is done. because the computer is so precise in its measurements of wheel speed; which facilitate systems like abs/traction control, even the slightest value being out of spec could and most likely will result in failure of these systems. get an alignment. hope this helps!

Why wont my Windows roll down when vehicle is on?

There could be a few reason. I am assuming they are power windows. The fuse for the windows could be out, you would just have to check the diagram that comes with your owners manual and see if the fuse is good. You could have a bad window motor. Or the window could be off the track.

My coolant sensor doesn't fit in the new housing I bought. 2005 Mercury mountaineer. Anifreeze leaks out where the sensor goes into the new housing? Help

You may have been given the wrong sensor or housing. Talk to the rep. at the auto part store where you purchased them and have them look it up again. If you received the correct parts then they should fit. Good luck!

I dont have an owners manual and I'm trying to find the location of the fuse for the fog lights in the fuse box... Which number is it??

Hi Roy, I haven't looked through the manual to see if it indicates the location of the fuse for fog lights, but here is a link to Mercury Mountaineer owner manuals, which might provide the information you are seeking: http://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/OwnerGuidePage&year=2005&make=Mercury&model=Mountaineer Good luck!

I have a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer. Most of the time when I put it into reverse, the engine cuts off or sputters like it's going to cut of. The transmission was replaced 1 year ago.

Only in reverse? May have a shift solinoid issues or something related to it. You will need an experienced tech to do a scan check to see if any of the sensors or solinoids are out of range or slow acting as you may not get the bad code to come out rightaway but it causes durability issues and having the right experienced teck that knows how it works it will save you headaches and $$ in the long run. Also another thing that comes to mind is a possible vacuum leak from your brake booster and tgat is something you can check at home without a scanner. With a long needle vicegrips reach over and squeeze the big vacuum hose going to the booster letterly plugging the pass of vacuum inside. Very carefully start the car, apply the brake pedal and you will notice that they are stiff, then put it in reverse and see if does the same thing. If that fixes it then you have a bad brake booster, if it doesnt help any then your problem is elsewhere. DO NOT LEAVE THE VICEGRIPS ON THAT HOSE it will make the pedal very stiff and it wont want to stop which can lead you to have an accident.
