My transmission is slipping in and out during

I'll try to help you the best way I can regarding your transmission transmission have solenoids and if these solenoids get damaged if they're old they allow fluid the past there like a check valve system so if your solenoids are old and may cause the slippage that you're feeling or maybe that gears are grinded but that's really rare knowing the transmission these days and their tolerances

How or where do i check my power steering fluid on a 2001 honda passport

Do you have the owners manual to your vehicle ? Best thing to do if you don't is find the power steering pump which is driven by the serpentine belt. Then follow the hoses to the reservoir if the two components are separate. Make sure to use the proper fluid for your vehicle

Have 2001 honda passport just changed waterpump and timing belt. cranks and no start what would be the cause?

When changing the timing belt on a vehicle be sure that the timing marks line up on the camshaft sprockets and the crankshaft sprocket then turn the engine by hand (not the starter) 2 full revolutions (I spin it 4 revolutions to be completely sure) and check that the timing marks still are lined up. While turning the engine if you feel resistance STOP. You may not have the timing correct. Make sure that the spark plugs are removed while doing this because the compression of the engine can make it difficult to turn by hand.

The 1st thing you need to do is have the fault codes read with a san tool and or OBD2 code reader. Autozone and others do this for free if you can get the car there.

How do i find the transmission fluid dip stick on a 2001 honda passport?

There is no dipstick. The engine and transmission was designed by Isuzu up till 2002, and the automatic transmission was a sealed, no-maint. transmission. You will either need to purchase the special tools needed, or...........that's right, go to a transmission shop!!!
