Power window on 1996 Mercury
The gears on the drive unit eventually weaken and strip. Buy a replacement at a junkyard or off eBay (sometimes available there). Some auto parts stores carry them. Don't buy one at the dealer - way too pricey.
The door panel mus come off (inside). This is medium to difficult as a DIY project.

P1445: CHECK PF SENSOR HIGH VOLTAGE TO PCM
Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1445 indicates that
Self-Test has detected a PF sensor circuit input above the maximum.
Possible causes:
PF shorted to VPWR.
PF open circuit.
PWR GND open circuit.
Damaged purge flow (PF) sensor.
Damaged PCM.
Check engine code 1407
two people told me it was the egr valve
one guy said he replce the hose and it worked for him

REPLACE FUEL FILTER.CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS AND FILL TANK UP WITH NEW GASOLINE.REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES,CHANGE AIR FILTER, DO THIS LITTLE TUNE UP AND SEE IF IT HELPS YOUR POWER.
The abs light just comes on when driving and then
when the abs light comes on after driving and turns off when shut down, it indicates that the sensors are working, but what it is seeing is and error in the mechanic part of the system..
Generally most popular. there is a geared tooth ring on your front drive axles that the sensor picks up, you need to inspect them for cracks, make sure to look closely
If possible, a scanner will tell you which wheel has the error, and that will narrow down which wheel to inspect, otherwise you will need to look at all four wheel sensor rings

It started about one week
If it revs up & doesn't go,the trans is slipping
& will have to be rebuilt
Not going over 35 with no trans issues would
be a bad exhaust converter (blocked) & or
a clogged gas filter
Tune-up is sort of a outdated term and never
is a cure for much ,unless you have ignition issues
Never have to replace any PCV Valves. Remove & clean
every 3 years

You have a ignition misfire your plug wire are seeking ground just do a major tune up with new plug wires and if the coil wire or the coil tower are corroded replace the coil also, with a new cap and rotor
Check gauge came on
take it to a auto parts store like autozone and they will read the codes for free, then go from there
