2001 Lexus LS430 warning alarm lights on top of insrtument panel
I would prefer if you forwarded a clear picture of these lights or symbols. The only green light I can think of is the one in the top center. That green light shows that your gear selector is in Park and moves as you select a different gear position. I think the yellow and Red light that you speak of is within the top area of the RPM gauge. The Red light should have an "!" symbol and is indicating a warning. The alarm is a back up to also alert you of an issue. This could represent your tires or engine. You should send it in for diagnostics asap. The Yellow Light I am not sure of. I need to know what it looks like. If it looks like a car with wavy lines. This light represents your traction control. If your car contains the owners manual it is a great idea to familiarize yourself with it. There is a lot of good information inside.
How do I get the gas gauge working?
You are going to need to do some basic troubleshooting. First, check to make sure you have voltage at the gauge. If you have a minimum of 6V (DC) across the terminals of the gauge, but the gauge is not reading, replace the gauge. If you have <6VDC reading at the gauge, check for voltage at the float unit on the gas tank. If <6VDC at the gas tank float module, replace the float module. If you have voltage at the float module, suspect a problem with the dash cluster display.

Get your codes,google them,then start all over
& have a shop work on that system & find the fault,
the reason the light came on & make the repairs

Lifter noise lexus ls430 2001
Lifter noise(s) can be a combination of things........ 1. High mileage on engine. 2. Not using the correct oil. 3. Lots of sludge build up in motor due to lack of oil changes and the quality of oil that you are using. Hydraulic lifters rarely fail but it does happen, given the conditions on how the car was maintained. I can offer you a solution but no guarantees on what might quiet this lifter down. It's a 50/50 chance. On your next oil change, I would recommend taking your vehicle to a facility that sells BG products. It's a company that formulates chemicals that have great cleaning properties to your fuel system and oil lubricating systems in your engine and at the same time, it is safe on all rubber seals in your engine. (Especially Higher Milage Vehicles) Ask for BG MOA to be added in you next oil change or if you do your own oil changes, you can find this product on line and can purchase from there. What the BG MOA does, it helps break up sludge and build up on the inside of your engine and helps to free up your valves, piston rings and noisy lifter(s). Hydraulic lifter(s) tend to make noise when they can't sufficiently pump up with oil due to sludge and build up blocking the oil inlet passage. Worn lifters on cold start up may be very noticeable but eventually the ticking goes away after engine warms up and the hydraulic lifter(s) had time to pump up. Make sure that you don't have a exhaust manifold leaking as well due to a crack or a failing exhaust manifold gasket. This can also emit a ticking noise in which can be misdiagnosed for a ticking lifter. A leaking exhaust manifold can usually be identified by the ticking noise getting louder and faster when accelerating and quieter and slower when decelerating. Ticking noise is loud on cold start ups but not noticeable at all when engine is at operating temperature. Hope this will help you out.
Tail lights on '01 lexus 430 wont come on
Check fuses first for rear park lamps. I do believe there will be 2 fuses for RR & LR tail lamps. Owners manual will state the location of the fuse junction box. If both fuses are good, I would next check to see if the park/brake lamp bulbs are good and are the correct type. If the bulbs are correct and okay, the turn signal stalk assembly has failed and needs to be replaced. BEFORE YOU REPLACE THAT PART............. If you have a trailer hitch installed, check the trailer hitch wire harness and make sure that it is not shorting out on anything metal due to poor installation. If that is the case, repair short and replace rear park lamp fuse(s). Hope this helps you out.

Low ac port side
The low side A/C service port is located in the low side line nearest to A/C compressor. Due to the design of low side hose, it is difficult to see. When looking down to locate the port, the low side rubber A/C line obstructs the view to the port. I would recommend removing top engine cover and driver side front plastic cover (That Covers ECU And Relays) to easily view the port and it will make it easier to access it if you need to charge the A/C system. Hope this helps you out.
Radio shuts off after 5 seconds
I'm not sure what radio option you have in your vehicle or if you have any aftermarket equipment installed to interface radio functions or operations. But if it is the Mark Levinson set up, the software that controls the the function that you are having problems with, is possibly corrupted and radio may need to be reprogrammed at the dealer with new updates/calibrations so it can stay in communication with radio amplifier and all other options including the HVAC system controls. For being a 01' model, this car was way ahead if its time!
