follow the black plastic hose (Going towards the passenger side fender well), remove the plastic cover should be three plastic clips, once the cover is removed you will see the air box, two clips are in the front of the cover, pop them open and you see the filter, hope it helps

Take the reomte to WalMart jewlrey department.. When there - open the reomte & pop the battery out.. They usually have those size batteries & good prices..

Find and insert the requested disc or try disconnecting the batery to reboot the on board computer

flick the clips pull the lever and then take the filter out

go to auto zone, advanced autoparts, or a certified mechanic and ask if they can reset the codes, it should be free

The outer cone is where the problem is, right where the fiber/foam of the cone material attaches to the outside metal frame. if you look closely, you will find the speaker is torn along this line, at least at some point(s). I used ge silicone 2 clear, make a bead all the way around, took about ten minutes, could not be better. Great fix. Also check lexus owners club for more detail.

it is on the pass side of engine copartment . you have to remove a couple of covers. pretty easy.

have ou had an alignment? cars tend to strech chasis wise over time and they will loose there aling ment. any strange tire wear?

Usually this is Caused by a Change in Oil Viscocity Between oil Changes. Like--You were using 10 W 30 and the Next time you used 10 W 40 and So on. The same goes with Mixing Synthetic and Regular Oil.

it's 4.6 litres with the filter and 4.4 without, hope this helps

yes there is a shift solenoid, you might have a dealer flash your tcm and see if that works, or try disconnecting the battery for about 30 min.. hope this helps

are they not the same as the other cars where you will press a clip at the bottom of one of the post and you can slide out the headrest?

There are variable factors as to parts failures. Workmanship, usage habits, the part involved track record, maintenance habits. Your question is in general without examples given, suspension is all. Who made the parts, day, afternoon, or the nightshirt, yes there is a difference between shifts in manufacturing and assembling.
Get parts with warranty if possible. Get warranty on labor.
My saying is, too expensive to own an old car unless you work on it yourself.
