Both the check engine light
When the CEL is lit the TRAC (tion control) system is often switched off and the warning light is lit to remind you of that fact; this may also involve the ABS (anti lock braking system). The CEL light can come on if you leave your fuel filler cap on loose, the Engine Control Unit (ECU - power control module) sees the loose cap as problem in the fuel vapour evaporative control system and switches on the CEL. Even if the cap is put on firmly it takes some time for the ECU to reset itself. Disconnecting the negative lead to the battery for five minutes is usually enough for the ECU to rest itself and remove the stored error codes.
Power seat works every direction EXCEPT up and
If you probe one wire at a time on motor with a test light, and move switch to up & down position, it should light up in one or the other, then the other wire should light up in opposite direction of switch, if not, check at switch for power going in, and if you have power going in, and have confirmed good ground as well, then it must be the switch. Hope that makes sense, if not let me know.
HAVE A CODE PO446 1999
P0446 is an evap code. Most likely, you need to change the charcoal canister vent valve (CCV) under the trunk floor. Fuel cap codes set 3 codes at once, P0440. P0441 and P0446, all at the same time.

Replace purge valve on my 2003 lexus gs300
The purge valve is mounted in the engine compartment, probably on the firewall. It is held on by two bolts. It has an electrical connector and two vacuum hoses and looks like the pic below. . Release the connector and unscrew the two bolts. Move the vacuum lines from the old valve to the new one. Bolt the new valve down and connect the wiring harness.

Ive a 1995 Lexus gs300. Its been running fine
Trust what the AA says ..
It does sound like you have an airlock .. and the airlock is likely to be in the heater matrix, as opposed to the radiator.
Bleed the heating system: Set your heater controls to hot and fully open. Let the engine work until it reaches normal operating temperature. Check your coolant level to see if it has dropped.
You can always bleed the coolant system by leaving the coolant bottle cap off for 10 minutes whilst the engine ticks over.
It isn't your water pump.

I refurbished my alternator by changing the rectifier and regulator but the warning light not clearing
wow my hats off too you , im not knowing anyone that actually opens up one of these to replace the rectifier , any hows , if you use a volt meter that has a pretty good screen , you will see if charging system is working , placing red probe of meter on + battery term and black probe on - of battery , with car off you should have right about 12 volts after you start car and idle it you should have 12.5 to 13 volts , and this will increase to as much as 14.8 volts as you rev it up a bit if your meter doesn't show these then you still have problems in your charging system
