use a scan tool to reset the ECM

The characteristic you described is almost always a ground connection that is not secure.

Check with an ohm meter the resistance between the ground at the light socket and the chassis of the car. Any resistance is an indication of a poor ground connection. Temporarily connect the return(ground) connection at the socket to the chassis using a jumper.

If all is correct with jumper in place determine poor connection location and repair.

Hope this helps?

call any of your local auto scrap yards they can give you an answer to that. but when doing a windshield make sure you get a kit to do it at the local auto parts store first. a windshield is very easy to break on the install and the removal from the donor car.

Either fuse is under power or there is a short circuit in the wiring. Also clean the battery posts.

Until 1987 the fuel pumps were located under the left rear of the vehicle Starting in 1989, it is inside the fuel tank. You can access it without removing the fuel rank via an access panel inside the rear cargo or passenger area. You have to remove the rear seat to gain access to the panel.

you must remove or slide the inner tie rod boot outward on the rod and then thread the tie rod out of the steering rack. there is a section of the tie rod on the inside of the ball joint that has flat spots to get a open end wrench onto. to check your tie rods, simply jack the wheel off of the ground, grab the either side of the tire, and wiggle it towards and away from you. if you feel any play at all the tie rods must be replaced. also a god indication is when the front tires start to wear excessivly on the inside or outside edges.

as for the cv axle, it has a retainer ring on the end of the splined shaft. all thats reqired is to seat the splines in the transaxle (transmission) and the tap (shouldnt take too much) the outer end of the axle with a mallet or hammer. it will pop into place.

You probably need to replace the temperature sensor. It is located on the intake manifold, below the thermostat housing.

go to car-parts.com type inter your vehicle year and info to look up the rack and pinion and if there is any cross over parts it will list them on the left side that shows part info.. i always go to the left side of the screen right above where it shows how far away the part is and click on the blue letters (dis) and it will take you to the closest one first..

Hi, this sounds like a loose wire or connector. I recommend you pull the PGM-FI relay up out of it's socket and check to make sure the terminals underneath are not pushed in and fit snug onto the relay blades.

if you know how check to see if the fuel pump connections are loose or check to see if it has a bad ground wire that could be the case
