2004 Mercury Grand Marquis - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
What steps can I take to reset my computer for a 2004 grandmarquise
Disconnect the battery cables for 3minutes only if you have a key fob remote to shut off the alarm if you have one otherwise you be stuck in theft mode and a no start condition will be active are you trying to clear codes if so go to Auto zone first get the codes read and then ask them to clear it but if your doing it for inspection it won't work because system monitors need to be set and they will not if there's a problem and your check engine light will come on again or you'll fail the inspection from a monitor that's not cleared yet even if the check engine light is off

The motor for the lumbar support for the back of
the problem can be that the gear wheel can be strip on one spot ,and if the gear is plastic, and because of the back being more heavy it puts more strain on the gear and some times one can rush and push the back by hand ,all this can cause the gear to
strip.

2004 Mercury Grand Marquis with auto air
check for fuses. If some other defective stuff that you replaced broke the fuse then you may need to repower the system by replacing the fuse or a relay.
As for the air, do you mean no blower for both heat function and A/C function? An Owners Manual would show location for fuse and relay for blower. A web-search with term like "2004 Mercury Grand Marquis fuse panel or
blower relay location" could help.
Last, do not know if blower resistor relay was known good quality. This part is tempermental. Sometimes takes tap from broom or snowbrush handle to wake it up. Sad part is that after warranty there is little benefit from a used to new part. Should have been a National recall on this part.

The first problem with our
I would replace the clock spring rotating contact drum under the steering wheel for the restraint system warning light issues and check the operation of the headlight sensor when the lights will not go off, this is likely a sticking relay.

Ket stuck in ignition and will not turn or come out
Remove the steering column cowling and spray lubricant into whatever places can be reached. A gentle tapping on the lock body while rocking the steering wheel side-to-side and attempting to work the key might eventually free it and allow it to work, although even if it does the lock and key should be replaced to ensure reliability.
If it does not free the lock will have to be removed by the prescribed method and a new one fitted.

2004 mer. grand marquis
ok i am going to assume by "holding the turn sinal back" that means the high beams are on. Now i believe that the grand marquis has 1 lo beam and 1 hi beam relay if they are rated at the same amperage you can swap em . The mercury i have has two locations under the hood and under the steering column to the left. In the car it is has a locking tab that you have to pull down to unlock it and it will swing out. In all honesty if you have 20 bucks and want to invest it i would suggest buying an repair guide either way good luck.
