Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat)

Seat covers

Weight on passenger seat

(Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)

I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity2_bing.gif problem.

I DO NOT disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s)

What speed is it set for. There is a minimum speed requirement. Also, If you have it set for 60, and you're only going 30, it usually won't kick in. You are too far from the target speed.

The radiator fan remains ON at all the time even

I think what you are seeing when you say the fan is turning is normal. It is a optical Illusion, surely it is turning, but is not engaged. I will tell you how to test this, but use "EXTREME CAUTION" when perform the test. Also were eye protection and no loose clothing while working near a running engine.
Take a piece of card board from a box..about 18inchs by 18 inchs, fold it a few time until it is about 18" by 4" Have someone start the engine.....and stay inside the car, with the engine at a idle only. Slowly and carefully put the end of the folded cardboard into the outside of the fan fins. If the fan stops turning, then, with a cold engine. The fan clutch is working correctly. If the engine is hot and the fan is working correctly then the fan will tear of the end of the cardboard and probably won't stop turning...unless you have a defective fan clutch.

Good luck, and what I told only applies with a Thermostatcially controlled clutch fan. The is how you test them to see if they are working properly. Richard.

Checked at autozone when service engine soon light

The knock sensor is located under the intake manifold and will be expensive to fix at 5-6 hours labor. The rich code could be a bunch of different things and will need to be hooked up to an actual computer to see what is out of spec.

Looking for the sensor that the reads the outside air temperature

bpagett: the component you are referring to is called an "AMBIENT SENSOR". It is located behind the front bumper cover on the radiator core support near the center of the vehicle. The part is about 2 inches long and bullet shaped. It has the wire harness plugged into it. Sorry I don't have a part number for you.
