Headlight fuses keep blowing
You have a short circuit somewhere in the wiring. Either a cut or bare wire. If not, the headlamp is causing the short. Last resort, use a higher amp fuse (but this may compromise wiring system).

Knock sensor where is the nock snsor
it is buried in the engine. Do not change it even if you get a code. It is a passive sensor and will not affect the engine. $600 to change it and it won't run any better.see villager quest site in yahoo group

Where is the freeze plug on a 1998 mercury
On the engine block there are eight of them. They are located in the middle of the block, including on the rear and sides. You can find them as they look like little (1 1/2" - 2") steel cups imbedded into the engine block.

I am replacing the rear brakes does any one have a
I just find this (click over
this link for zoom)...
Fig. Exploded view of the rear drum brake assembly - LINK
The rear brakes do not require manual adjustment. Adjust the shoes by
sharply applying the brake pedal several times while driving the vehicle
alternately forwards and backwards. Check the brake operation by making
several stops while driving forward. The self-adjusting mechanism will
sufficiently adjust the rear brake shoes without any manual tightening
at the brake shoe adjuster. If the rear brake shoes are manually
adjusted, the additional action of the brake shoe adjuster can cause the
brakes to become over-tightened and result in binding or overheated
rear brakes.Hope this helps.
