My engine light is on .what coukd it be ?
HelloWhen the service engine
soon light (Also called the check engine light or engine management
light) is turned on this is to alert you to the fact that Powertrain
Control Module (computer) has detected a failure somewhere in the
systems it controls you may not feel any difference in the way the
engine runs, this can be the transmission or the engine or emission
system, there are fault codes set in the modules memory for these
faults. What needs to happen now is to have the powertrain control
module scanned with a special tool called an OBD2 electronic engine
control scanner or a OBD2 code reader. Once the code(s) are read then
you must perform the diagnostics for each code and make the
appropriate repairs based on the findings of the diagnosis that was
performed, this is called doing "Pinpoint" testing.

No power to radio,ac blower,
Does the vehicle have trouble starting at anytime? Are there other accessories that do not work? Have all the fuses been checked?

I need a fuse diagram, so I know where the fuses go
You might try the online discussion groups for Jeeps. A Haynes manual would have the wiring diagrams but I don't know about a fuse layout. The owners manual would have it if you could find one on Ebay.

Not firing
if you have an inductive timing light try it on all the spark plug cables to see if they are getting any voltage (dont worry about checking timing, just that the light is firing as it should) if it isnt check coil lead, then the distributor cap and rotor. Next check the ignition module... These are the basic things that would prevent the 94 from firing over. After that you would look to the ECM (computer). NOW this makes the assumption that the engine is getting fuel, which is another situation entirely. fuel filter, fuel pump, pressure regulator bad injectors, can all be a problem as well as a blown fuse to the fuel pump. Another problem though not likely, is a bad oil pump, as if the engine does not bring up oil pressure the ECM will not allow the fuel pump to power up... So you need to know if you are getting fuel, air and spark to make sure the engine will start. Air is the least of the problems as that is almost never an issue

Tail lights & dash lights not working on 1994 jeep cherokee
Check with a dealer and see if your vehicle uses a body or lighting control module...These usless items are being used more and more, and causing all anticipated problems excessive electronics can cause, when used for "updating" time-proven working systems by "engineers". Otherwise, check plug on harness to make sure that connectors are clean and not melted or burned.

I cannnot figure out how to fix my back-up lights on my 1990 Jeep
mike... i have to start with the merely obvious.... have you check the bulbs are not burnt out. ?... next put it in reverse... and jiggle the shifter... does that make them come on ?.... if not leave it in reverse... motor off of course and parking brake on ... and test for voltage to each socket...... if none... have someone jiggle the shifter while you check for voltage... if there is still none... you have basically narrowed it down to the switch... the relay or the fuse.

Most of those use to be the same as FORD V8 but you better go in ask for a look up if you do not know and have the year make and model plus the engine sizeJohnny

Hear air when i push down the brake pedal
If the pedal gets hard then you either have a vacuum leak from the hose coming off of the brake booster going to the intake manifold or the brake booster itself is faulty.

Hello Experts! I need help with my 94jeep
Are you sure you checked all the fuses. The power distribution center in the engine compartment contains fuses and relays, also on later models there is a fuse/relay box in the kick panel or instrument panel or in the glove compartment. Check for a bad fuse at these locations first. As for checking the relays, it is hard to find a bad relay without a ohmmeter to check the continuity. Sometimes on my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee if I think a relay is at fault, I look for (2) of the same type of relays in the fuse compartment and switch them to see if it fixes the problem and if it did then you buy the same type and replace it. You might go to your local auto parts store and they may be able to check the relays. If they can not check them you can go to your Jeep Dealer and they will be able to check them.
