first ,go check your gas cap,make sure its on tight(3-4 clicks) drive vehicle if light still on, replace cap.if this cures it,your good to go. If it still on go to autozone,ask them to pull the the OBD2 Code they will do this for free. or go to walmart buy you an OBD2 reader (18-20.00) check it yourself. maybe somthing you can repair yourself real cheap.

cHECK OIL LEVEL,IS FULL TO MARK.

these cars are known for bad transmissions , what did you do , why did you play around with the cluster you should never fix something that is not broke , go on youtube , you may have screwed up a wire on the cluster that controls the shifter somehow ,

i think that you may have burnt out something else in your mother board when you soldered it

first check all fuses this is done by using a test light 12 volt . put one end to ground or negiative side of battery. touch other end to fuse with key on the light should light on both sides if only one side lights up replace the fuse. if no fuses are bad I suggest testing the alternator .if this was helpful please leave good feed back

The radio will have to be removed from the car dashboard

here are some pics of your problem,you could get a new tube from honda or a new tube from a hardware store,disconnect the tube from the top,tape the new tube to the top of the old tube,tape it good,pull the old tube out the bottom and attach the new tube at the top and to the grommet on the bottom,OR you may be missing the grommet,get a new grommet or,use a straw from a plastic cup and attach it over the old tube and insert through the hole in body.,

just found out it is the left front door latch assembly that failed on my car...so there is nothing wrong with the remote transmitter....dealer says $385.00..not happy but thats the answer i got

I can so relate. 2005 Concord a few weeks ago. Turns out it was a very small and easy fix. Disconnect neg on batt. now unplug every connector to ECM. one at a time and the plug them back in. reconnect the batt. Turn key on wait till check engine light goes off. That should take care of the problem.

is there power to the cd changer possible fuse is the head unit connected to the changer check wiring is there a jamed cd in changer try disconnecting battery and reattach to reset unit if all this fails the unit is goosed

What OBD fault codes do you or did you have, when the dash light came on? Did you not look up those codes & diagnose them? Changed what sensors & why ? The only parts that get changed, are the ones that fail a test & are the cause of a vehicle problem or issue

Remove the dash cluster and replace the burn out bulbs

Sounds like it is an automatic. You may have something stuck in the console preventing you the shifter from going past D. Easy enough to take apart and examine. May be some old french fries arestuck in there or a lipstick or a lighter or a coin. My best guess is it is a coin or coins. If not in the console, the shifter cable linkage connects to the transmission under a small access plate. Could be that the linkage is loosened somehow or the bolts have come loose and it is is preventing it from shifting into 2nd. Unless of course you mean that when you put it into 2 or second it does not go, that is a different problem. That is an internal transmission problem. It may be time for a rebuild or perhaps the shifter solenoids for second gear are bad or you need to add and or change the transmission fluid.
