If I am not mistaken isn't that a shift solenoid code. If it is a shift solenoid code you will need to service the tranny and have it replaced. You can also check and see it there are any service bulletins or recalls on the tranny system through your local dealer.

Why did a hum/buzz sound come from mid to back area after being turned off couple hours?

Hi: If you just bought the car there should be some kind of recourse with the dealer, There are lemon laws to protect the buyer. Check it out. It could be the fuel pump losing it's prime and the hum you hear could be the pump going on to restore it's prime. Good Luck

ABS/TCS lights on 2002 Honda Accord Coupe EX V6. Have high quality OBDII Scanner. Should the on board system report the problem to the scanner?

Only if the warning light showed on the dash...most often these abs sensors get clogged with brake dust or dislodged during wheel swaps if the pads are fine and fluid level correct...first check the brake pads then the disks and clean the sensors with an old toothbrush and reseat, also check the fluid level on the abs system.this should clear warning light.but any error codes stored on ecu need to be cleared using obd.

Honda radio code

either the radio code is wrong or you have locked the radio down you only have three attempts to enter the correct code if this is the case disconnect thenegative battery cable for 10 minutes then reconnect and try again. If the code is wrong the audio unit will have to be removed so you can get the serial number to give to the honda dealership so they can get the correct code

How do I remove the ignition barrel from the cylinder housing?

Hello, This is a fairly straight forward job and with the correct tools shouldn't be very difficult. Your biggest challenge will be that your key is broken off since the key is instrumental in pulling the old switch out. Please read my instructions below fully before attempting the job. Tools Needed - Flat & Phillip Head Screw Driver, Small 90 Degree Hook, A Straight Pick & T30 Safety Torx remove-ignition-barrel-from-cylinder-p1aus1s3fwe0ue1iewji4qiu-2-0.jpg Removal 1. You need to get the plastic column cover off from around the steering wheel by removing the two phillips head screws on the bottom side. 2. The guard will come apart in two pieces by pulling with medium to hard pressure. 3. You might need to tilt the column downward to get the guard off if its too high. 4. Now your cylinder will be exposed and you should see the safety torx bolt on the side of your cylinder. (Remove The Torx) 5. There will be a small lock button on the top opposite side from the torx bolt, You will need to get your key switch into the on position then use the 90 degree pick to push the small safety lock button at the same time while pull outward. (See #6 Before Moving On) 6. Here is where you could run into problems since your key is broken. I suggest taking a small flat head screw driver and turn your key cylinder with slight pressure towards the on position while lightly pulling outwards as if you where pulling the key out. You must also push that small lock button with your 90 degree pick as explained above all in one motion. (The cylinder will not release if the key cannot be put into the on position) Note I suggest purchasing your new key cylinder and examining it very well before stating the job. You will see the small safety lock button and can understand how everything works before you start. Re-Install 1. There is a small spring inside where the key switch slides back into the ignition (It sits in a center hole) If that came out you will need to use the straight pick to slide it back into position. 2. Take your new cylinder with the key in the on position (Just like It was during removal) and get it into the position to slide back in. 3. There will be a small foot shaped lever at the bottom of the cylinder housing you will need to press downward at the same time your sliding the new cylinder back into place. 4. Take not also to insure the safety lock button on top of the new cylinder slides past the housing into place 5. You might have to turn the key cylinder slightly back and forth a few time while applying pressure inwards. It sounds like a ton of work but it is really a straight forward job once you do it. I just wanted to explain every small detail you could run into. You will see most of the things I explained above on your own as your going through the motion. I hope this helps you out and if it works please rate my answer as helpful. Good Luck!

How do you know if your air &gas regulator on honda accord 2002 ex is working ?????

If you mean the fuel pressure regulator, you do a fuel pressure test. That checks the fuel pump, fuel filter, and the pressure regulator. Rent or borrow a fuel pressure gauge, hook it onto the test port, turn key on, and read the pressure. With engine running, read it again, it may drop a few psi which is normal. Here is a how to: http://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator
