On some car, like in my renault, there is an additional fuse box near the engine.
Buy the complete Haynes manual for your car, it will show diagrams and picture of all parts, and eventually tell you which fuses and parts are involved in the radiator fan wiring.
Once you have the diagram you follow the circuit leading to fan and find the fault, it shouldn't be complicate.

Hard Shifting 1997 5 Speed Honda Civic Manual Transmission

I have a 1997 Honda Civic CX hatchback with 150K miles, For some time now I have noticed that shifting the car in just about every gear is getting increasing more difficult to the point where I often grind gears before getting it in the proper speed. I added gear oil and that did not help. When it warms up, it's a little better, but not much. First gear gets much easier once warm, but the others only get marginally easier. Any ideas?

if its manual transmission, when moving in any gear try stepping on the gas pedal, does the engine feels like its running away? if it does it maybe the clutch lining is expended expensive job.
If not you have to check the clutch fluid level or a leak in the master cylinder (at the foot pedal) assembly or in the slave(clutch lever actuator) the clutch actuator may not be traveling (pushing) sufficiently to give you an adequate clutch separation in other words you are trying to shift the gears with little or no clutch at all.
There is an overhaul kit that you can buy (cheap) for the master or the slave. easy to do really just remove, disassemble, replace the rubber seals and cups, reinstall, bleed the air out.

The most common cause of this is a air pocket in the cooling system, If you've done a coolant flush, changed a hose, radiator, etc..Im not saying that every honda that has a surging idle has this problem but I've worked at a honda dealership for over 10 years and I see this quite often. Let the car idle with the cap off for a while and if that still doesnt do it, jacking up the car as high as you can on the left side while its idling works too..theres a 25 tool thats basically just a funnel that stops this problem if you do alot of your own mechanical work.

1996 Honda Civic Power Window will not work.

I have a 1996 Honda Civic 2 dr EX model and the Passenger Side power window just stopped working. I bought a brand new regulator and motor and put it in....NOTHING. I jumpered my OLD motor and that worked fine so I jumpered the new motor in the door and when I reverse the 2 wires the motor raises the window up and down. I thought it MUST be the MASTER switch. I bought that part and it did nothing....I bought the passenger side switch....nothing. During all this,The driver side window works fine and the passenger side window makes a tiny, tiny effort to move as did the old one but it will NOT go up or down but just makes a LITTLE effort to TRY to go up when it is all the way up. I will try to track down the ground as you did in your drivers door to see if that is broken but is there a relay UNDER the dash? I found the one under the hood but I am not great with a meter so ANY help as I said would be great. I am trying to get this car window fixed for my son and am about out of options and do not know what else it could be because everybody said it "HAD" to be the master switch IF I replaced the motor already.**** PLEASE REMEMBER when thinking this problem through....I already replaced the REGULATOR with MOTOR and replaced BOTH SWITCHES on this 96 Civic EX 2 Door. Also I have a second 96 civic with a stick shift that the speedometer goes wacky in and then sometimes it just stops then starts again and I replaced the speed control sensor on the manual trans and that did nothing....I mention this second problem only in case you have had Honda Civics because it seems like they all get these same "bugs".

Check to see if the wires to the windows are broke in the rubber hose from the door to the body where the door pivots.

96 Honda Civic PASSENGER Power Window will NOT go down,Only UP.

I have just come in from looking at the car again that I posted a question about last night and can add a piece to the puzzel. This 1996 Honda Civic EX 2Dr. PASSENGER WINDOW WILL NOT GO DOWN,BUT GOES UP JUST FINE. I have bought a brand new motor w/regulator and new switches for the doors on BOTH sides and today I unplugged the window motor plug and jumpered the 2 terminals with 2 wires from the battery and reversed them and the window goes up and down but when I unhook the jumper wires and put the factory plug back on,the window will go up fine but just will not go down. I checked all the wires inside the passenger door and even the connector plug that is covered with the plastic boot where they go into the black rubber boot between the body and door and all look good. I just wondered if now knowing that the window will go UP just fine and NOT down may point to something more specific. Thank You to EVERYBODY for the help and support.

Check the Power Window Relay that is located in the drivers side kick panel, not in the fuse panel. I just had a similar problem with a Civic 4dr, had power out of all the switches and the motor would work fine if I hooked up direct power, when I hooked the switch to the motor, nothing happened. I printed the wiring diagram from AutoZones help section and found the relay that operates everything for the windows.
