The D4 shift colum is blinking when i start the car and even when it is park. Dosnt take off very fast when D4 is blinking. What could be the problem?
The D4 light blinking indicates there is a diagnostic trouble code stored. When a malfunction occurs, the vehicle computer records the code and stores it,then flashes the D4 light to let you KNOW there is a problem. On pre OBD 2 Honda vehicles,1995 and back,Hondas are manual code read, which means you do NOT hook up a scan tool as there is no scan port. The passenger side front kick panel is removed, and a blue 2 wire connector located.Use a jumper wire to short out the connector, then turn the ignition key on,with engine off,not running. This throws the computer into self diagnostic mode, and the D4 or "s" light will flash a series of flashes. The flashes have to be counted, and written down. For example,2 flashes followed by 4 flashes would be a code 24.The code is then looked up with reference material for a description and diagnostic route.Every diagnostic trouble code, has a diagnostic route, for repairing the problem.Again, this informtion, the diagnostic route,is available in reference material from pay sources like All Data Online. After the repair is made, the battery is disconnected to clear the code.Good luck.

My Honda Accord 94 Lx, won't shift into park or reverse. It takes alot of pressure & both hands to shift it in, and out of park on most days. Now it won't shift into park or lock into reverse. It will go into drive and all the drive gears with no problem. I have it in netural now with the parking brake on so it doesn't roll, but I can't get my key out of the ignition because it won't go into park. Could it be the shift cable? I did take the shift knob off and sprayed some wD40 on it, but I don't know what I'm doing. I put the knob back on. Help need my car!
it should be the shift cable that doesnt let u put it in park

My 1994 Accord has had issue after issue. Currently the issue is that I can turn the car on, but it only runs for about a second before it just dies. The radio stays running and my lights will stay on, so its not the battery. But what would cause something like that to happen? I recently changed the fuel filter, and it has a new ignition compound (sorry if thats not the correct terminology, i'm no car expert). The car has had the air conditioning recharged, and an oil change. The throttle body was also cleaned. Thats all the work its had done to it in the last month, since I've owned it. So what would cause it to turn on but not stay running? Fuel pump maybe?
My car starts up but then dies in just a few sec

The hatch on my 94 Honda Accord Wagon will not open. The release seems stuck and does not release the latch. (Fairly confident it's not a lock issue.) How can the rear hatch be opened under this circumstance?
This is the exact problem that developed on my 96 Honda Accord Wagon. I huddled in the back interior with a utility knife and cut my own rectangular access panel into the plastic. A few inches up from the bottom center (just above the actual latch) I found my problem. A broken plastic clip was failing to hold its end of a metal arm into a hole. I stuck the 'L' end back in the hole and used some wire to secure it. Now I have duct tape decor added to my back interior and a working hatch!

how do you fix low pressure on windshield washer fluid sprayer.
Its just plugged up, probably right at the nozzle it's a pretty tiny hole. To clear it out you need to find a small diameter wire that will fit inside the hole to clear the blockage. Something like a small gauge sewing needle or a straight pin. It can also get plugged up in the rubber tubing. Usually you can just blow through it with lung power. Just pull the tube off at the nozzle and run the washer this will tell you if it's the nozzle or the tubing.
