Where to line up timing marks on wave 2006
Most new cars don't have a simple timing fix. If the mark isn't where it should be the frst thing to check is your timing belt / chain. DO IT IMMEDIATLY or you could ruin your engine. Otherwise in a repair manual details will be given on how to set timing.

I have a 2005 Audi A8 and it is time for the
On most 55k or 60k services they flush all of the fluids and add new ones. Service the belts if needed. Some dealers even suggest doing the timing belt on them. But to tell you the truth most everything execpt the oil can wait until about 75k. Very little breakdown occurs in the other fluids in this amount of time especially under normal driving conditions. Now if in severe stop and go traffic all the time have the tranny and brake fluid serviced because it will be the worst.

Woh can i change brake disks and pads on audi a8
I'm assuming you have Lucas calipers, On that type of caliper you have to depress the piston and at the same time turn it clockwise.
You have to have the bleeder screw open when you do this.
I took a large size C-clamp to clamp down on the piston, then used a giant pair of channel locks to turn the piston.
You have to keep adding more pressure to the clamp while doing this it's somewhat awkward.
You must screw the piston all the way down for the new pads to fit.
Good luck,Gary

Break lights
The problem is that you pressed the pedal to the max when you installed the new switch. The switch is improperly adjusted. You should just have to loosen the mounting bolts on the switch, have someone watch the lights and adjust the switch so that the lights come on when the pedal is depressed about a quarter inch. That should fix the problem because your ABS and ESP systems monitor the brake light switch and when it comes on so if it doesn't come on or stays on it messes up both of those systems.
