One of two reasons.... it needs to be replaced or like in my case it's been wired wrong.... and that could also kill it

I would check for power at the fuse then at the turn signal switch.

Could be a bad connection at the cluster, or a faulty speed sensor in the transmission.

somehow you bent the float and now it s stuck in the full position

just did one , the heater motor quit , and nothing works , replace the heater / blower fan motor , under the hood , passangers side , you'll have to remove the windshield washer tank and i found it was easier to jack the passangerside up , remove the passangerside wheel and remove the screws from the plastic inner fenderwell , at least the back ones . sorry it isnt easier , but thats what i went thru

Radiator may be full, but have it tested or get it drained and replaced. If that doesn't do it, you've probably got a more serious radiator problem. Do you have A/C???
