The fuse to my ac and turning signals and back light keep blowing what could be the problem and how do I fix it

One of these three systems is shorting 12 volts to ground and the fuse blows. Remove turn signal lights, try a new fuse. If it still blows remove the back up lights. If it still blows the problem is the Ac or the relays controlling the signal lights.

Why my car wont go into gaer when i start it

Many of these require that you apply brake n order to put it into gear. Fuse probably is in circuit for brake pedal to let control unit know you have foot on brake. It is likely that the in-line fuse holder has broken (quite common) and thus the fuse fell out. Remove any under dash panels as needed to be able to see into this area, and you should find a wire with a part of broken fuse holder attached. Find the two ends and splice in a new fuse holder and fuse=fixed!

Leaking anti freeze from left rear of engine on a Mercury Grand Marquis 1998

most of the time it is a soft plug.soft plugs are a safety plug meant to keep the block of your engine from cracking inthe cold or hot. they can rust or pop out. check by getting under the car and look. check along the sides and the rear.there are some in the rear of the engine between the trans, and the engine. not to hard to replace unless between trans, and engine.

Where is the coolant fan sensor on 1998 Mercury Marquis

Before you change the fan control, make sure the fan is operating. Unplug the fan and attach two wires into the fan end, one for positive and the other negative, touch both leads to the battery and insure the fan runs. Please use long enough leads so your hands are clear of any moving parts for safety

Why does my 98 grand marquis loses power when in drive not in park or neutral.?

my first thought is the intake is dirty. a can of seafoam in your gas tank will clean that. also check the ground wire on the fuel injector rail.you can find it on the back of the engine close to the fire wall. take it loose and clean it and reinstall. last thought is the throttle po,sensor.

Ac only works for heat

Perform a self test on heater control head if it's electronic,... push floor and off button at the same time with key on, release, then press the auto button one time. This puts control head into self test. If you hear a clicking noise from your glove box area, probably a bad temperature blend door, also it will show a code on control head screen.post code here or Google it. Hope that helps. . Please rate if it helps you.

Why won't my key turn?

Ignition cylinder could be bad, it happens. Try turning wheel one way while trying, then try the other way. If still no then either your using the wrong key or cylinder is bad. You can replace it yourself as long as you don't have chip in your key...im pretty sure if that is case your better off having dealer do it. U can ask your local parts store about that. Just looked it up...here is link Ignition Lock Cylinder 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis 8 Cylinders 4 6L SFI... 27 bucks

Sensors for cooling

Sensors for cooling what? If you mean temp sensors, should be two. One will be for dash display (usually has only one wire) other is sensor for computer to know engine temp (usually has two wires). Both should be located near the place where the top radiator hose connects to the engine, and near thermostat. If we really knew what your issue is it would be helpful.
