Check to make sure vents are not clogged, below window by wipers check that and vents from dash going down,If not plugged then probably your heater core or heater blower motor may be shot or weak, you need a Haynes manual to check these if you are not familiar with where these are located at.Haynes manuals can be bought at most auto parts stores
there are only 4 ways.
1: replace the blown fuse?
2: BFH , hit it with a huge hammer.
3: force it.by hand or unjam it. (inspections close)
4: or get it serviced?
5: or DIY , read the FSM book on how to diagnosis it?
FSM is here.
https://www.techauthority.com/en-US/Pages/Home.aspx
both are covered in the fsm.
https://www.techauthority.com/en-US/Pages/Home.aspx'
the latter is by engine sizes, not stated.
water sending, ? the ECT? eng. coolant temp.?
no symptoms posted, but im to assume the scan tool shows
low ECT readings and the dash cluster engine temp are both low?>
if both are low, then the engine thermostat is bad. 99 out of 100.
next time post symptoms we can be on same page.
i guess you know where the ECT is? and wanted to know out to
remove it?
sigh
2.4 liter , face engine at 5pm on right cam, is ECT
or 1pm on top idle pulley. has a wire there.
3.7L
see photo below.
#3 unscrew it, after draining coolant.
never heard of google. or an fsm ?
no engine stated
no transmission
dang that makes help hard, we are blind here, unlike you or your mechanic.
i look in my FSM and there is no P3 codes. so did Autozoned do this?
i see only one car showing that code
a Diesel Cummings.
Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesels.
surely you know what under the hood and what transmission is in the car.???
why would you think it has bands?
old cars, &relics,. had all bands, and the maker got rid of them 1 by
1 , down to a low band (most 1 band cars now , have auto adjusters)
they did this to make tranny more narrow, and to make them stronger
to get rid of having to muck with them over and over, service steps just not really needed. (a top goal , now and by EPA) no muck no leaking to ground water, bla bla bla./
the 30/32RH had bands,
my guess is you are reading books for old cars and thinking this applies to now.???
the 42RLE has clutch packs, that are behind a PISTON that
is 100% auto adjustable.
why not post symptoms, theses transmissions are complex
and is shifted by and electronic brain
did you scan the PCM to see if there are TRANNY DTC errors yet.
that be first after checking fuses.
3rd paragraph, no bands
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultradrive#42RLEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FePWUkZXZyY
he has total rebuild 3 video pretension too.
the guts
no bands,

posted 2nd time this same post. searches do work
even google finds this is 1second flat ever hear of them?
Check these 3 things. 1 check antifreeze level and concentration at least 50/50 mixture. 2 make sure engine cooling fan is operating properly. 3 make sure radiator or condenser fins are not dirty and plugged. Sometimes you have to separate them to clean them out good.
where are you at, must we guess that?
are you inside the automatic transmisson???? really>?
the Air conditioning.
the MAP sensor.>
what? 3000 parts on the car (point and say, xxxxx here)
open glove box, extract oper guide. bingo, its all there.
posted like 100 times this.
or million times world wide all car forums..
RTM, get it and read. came with car when new
missing , get one, avoid being standed for silly things....
solenoid switch valve latched in LR position (this is a transmission issue which may involve replacing the valve body and solenoid pack; on some models there is a TSB on this problem so be firm with your dealer- Chrysler). not sure what TSB means but it sounds like a recall or problem they are aware of and responsible for fixing! That is word for word what my code reader says.
