no prob not and i had the exact same problem and bought the part from advance auto it was like $80 and it's a diy thing i'm an 18 year old female and could do it my self just need the part and 6 star screw driver...it's right there on the right side when you open the hood

the best way to do is dropping the engine and the transmission together with the sub frame
disconnect the rack and pinion, struts and brake lines
then you can separate the engine from the transmission once it's out.
I put a new stereo im my 1996 seville and it wont get power
sounds like its wired wrong .. there are three power inputs to the radio .. one is on all the time .. its for the clock only ... the second is from the panel lamp dimming circuit .. it turns on when the panel lights are on ... the third is the main power to the radio .. it is only on when the ignition is on or in accessory mode ..

Usually car stereo's have two wires that supply power, aside from the ground. One has power all of the time, for your memory and clock. The second is for when you turn the ignition key on, to allow the stereo to come on. It sounds like you have a power wire going to the the wrong one.

Where is the tranmission stick found
it is a red red round cap that you have to twist to unlock it is located under the air intake hose that goes from airbox to intake(nearer to the airbox)

either inlet manifold or head gasket,big job best advice is to trade it in against the goverments trade in plan and buy a new small car like a VW polo or beetle or a mini ,or better still a citreon C3 diesel ,60mpg on this vehicle think of the saving on petrol and the enviroment
Drives fine and then won't start or stalls.
remove the cover from around the fuse box under the hood on the drivers side then try moving the wires around from the main fuse box where it runs down from the box to the top of the transmission, have somebody try to start the car while you are doing this and see if it starts up there is a splice that likes to get hot and quit working in the pink or red wire that powers a portion of the fuse box including the fuel pump fuse. look for a brown spot in the wire, if you can make it start by moving these wires around cut the brown spot out and re-splice them together using a **** connector. seen it a thousand times....

yes this car does, some times it is in the trunk by where the lid hinges or on the passenger side compartment lower kick panel. some times they hide it really good so use a flash light to look around in the truck real good. it also could be in the rear wells of the trunk you might have to pull the carpet back to see it, good luck hope this helps

CHECK BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH FUSE OR BRAKE - TRANSMISSION SHIFT INTERLOCK SOLENOID FUSE.IF BOTH FUSES OKAY.THE PROBLEM COULD BE A BAD BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH OR A BAD BRAKE TRANSMISSION SHIFT INTERLOCK SOLENOID.YOUR IGNITION SWITCH IS BROKEN.MAKE SURE YOUR BATTERY IS 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT YOU CANT SHIFT INTO PARK.
