when you say blower action no air through vents? check fuses and if they re good the blower motor may be bad or not getting power or signal from switch.

There are people on the internet that sell "stepper motors" for them, assuming that is the problem, but you can buy re-manufactured ones from GM or maybe even aftermarket through your local auto parts store if "Dorman Products" makes one for your application.

I just fixed mine. The lever that opens and closes a door that directs the air flow to the defroster was broken. To be more specific, the plastic lever the actuator attaches to was broken. The actuator and the vacuum system were operating properly. It is simple to see but hard to get to. Remove the glove box and look up and to the left for a silver vacuum controlled actuator. I was able to fabricate another lever and attach it to what was left of the OEM lever.

First thing I would do is disconnect the battery and then reconnect it. It resets the computer when you changed the brakes the sensor probably went off. If that doesn't fix it then you may have damaged the sensor or the wiring to the sensor.
