2000 Honda Passport Questions & Answers
2000 Honda Passport 4 X 4, 4L30E trans. Would not shift into 1st when stopping. Replace all solenoid, refilled. Will act like its loading when putting in gear but will not move in any gear.
If your Honda Passport is not moving in any gear after replacing all the solenoids in the transmission, it could be due to a few different reasons. Here are some possible causes:
- Low transmission fluid level: Make sure the transmission fluid level is correct and the fluid is not contaminated or burned.
- Faulty torque converter: A faulty torque converter could prevent the transmission from engaging, which would cause the vehicle not to move in any gear.
- Broken transmission pump: The transmission pump is responsible for creating hydraulic pressure to engage the gears. If the pump is broken or not working correctly, the transmission will not engage.
- Failed clutch packs: Clutch packs are used to engage different gears in the transmission. If one or more clutch packs have failed, the transmission will not engage.
It is recommended to have the vehicle diagnosed by a professional mechanic to determine the root cause of the issue.
