Your best possible solution would be to take it to a certified dealer for maintenance the catylitic convertor could be the culprit? Is the engine light on? If so you can also go to auto zone and ask them to run diagnostic code retrieval on it and it will tell you exactly what the problem is! If it is the cat,convertor request your old one back and take it to a metal recycler it will almost refund your expense of buying the new convertor?

These trucks are known for temperature control door actuator failures. Does it have dual zone climate control? Is the temperature the same from left to right. Does the rear get warmer too? If it has automatic temperature control (setting to a specific temperature instead of just turning a knob from blue to red) it will only blow as cold as you set it. Intermittent problems can be difficult to pinpoint without seeing the truck.

in most cases the pump is worn out and requires replacement. there is a fuel pump relay but they don`t usually give a problem

There are multiple ways to test fuel injectors. The quickest is with an ohm meter, but it's less accurate than using more sophisticated equipment. With an ohm meter connected to the terminals of the injector itself, the meter should read about 14 ohms. Also, you'll need a test light to check the circuits going to them. With a test light connected to ground, disconnect all fuel injectors and crank the engine. One terminal at each injector connector should turn the light on. With the test light connected to the positive battery terminal, crank the engine again and check to see that there is a flashing light at the opposite terminal. What sort of problem are you having that you want to test the injectors?
