There's a website that has all this information about all this and manuals everything totally free there are many actually but I personally like few .. let me know if u need help thanks

If looking under the hood it should be located close to the windshield and to the left of the Brake master cylinder . it looks round like a small canister in shape. It should have a plug on the top of it

Did you change fuel filter?

It could be a sensor or the catalytic converter is stopped up. Go to auto zone and let them run a test for codes.

Cadillac fuse boxes are located under the dash on the driver's side and also under the hood on the driver's side. That is the case on my 1997 Cadillac Deville. Check your manual, for your Eldorado.

You need the remote and this will stop happening. Your key sensor is defective, use the passenger door.

The security system thinks someone is trying to steal the car and is disabling the car.

Could be a bad TPS - throttle position sensor , Videos on you tube on testing TPS sensor . In fact i would say that it is a real good possibility the TPS is bad .

It is bolted to the outside of the transmission.

Your best bet is to take it to a ASE certified repair shop ! if that's the best description you can give . Take the Tech for a ride an let him see for him self .

Try using the unlock button on the key fob right before you start the vehicle. If that doesn't work then disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes, reconnect it and try to start it again.

Check the button on the T bar is free or check linkage.

Check for proper transmission fluid level first.

the wire that goes to the ignition to the anti theft device is probably broken if you call a good locksmith they can go in through the steering column and fix it same thing happened to my 95 eldorado apparently cadillac designed the anti theft system to coincide with the ignition and is connected to the ignition with two wires that turn as the key is turned the wires twist and eventually they wear out

Its in the relay/fuse unit under the hood. They're a bit of a pain.
