If you have fitted a clutch kit then the clutch plate is in the wrong way round and the centre hub is fouling the flywheel bolt heads. If not then there is a possibility that the throw out bearing has failed and not pushing the pressure plate fingers in far enough to stop the clutch input shaft from spinning

Sounds like you are in need of a new O2 sensor. Bank 1 is the side of the engine that your no1 cylinder is located. bank 2 is the opposite side of the engine.

Why haven't you replaced that filter yet? Whoever told you that you have a rusted filter should have replaced it!!!

try taking off the positive battery cable for a few mins it should, hook cable back up that usually fixes

You can get one from the junkyard and splice it in, however most time when there is no communication you either have a bad ground going to your ecm or yourecm is defective.

The first thing is you can not adjust the idle , you will need to have the throtle plate set back to spec, when you turn the adjusting screw to raise the idle you change the tps readings and this will cause problems, a meter or scanner tool will be needed to adjust it back and then see why the idle was low, these newwer cars are all computer controlled, the computer controls the idle and much more, you may have starting problem and may even cause converter damage, have the idle adjusted back and tell them you adjusted it, the problem may be a bad or dirty idle air control valve, but have the computer scanned and see what codes are stored, good day.

Hi, if this is a modification which you wish to carry out, tou will need to find a suitable container, and fit it in a convenient location in the engine bay. Then fabricate lines from the engine breathers, ie, cam box, engine top end breather and the engine block, oil pan, breathers to the catch tank. Ensure that the catch tank is baffled and has a pressure release . breather fitted to avoid being pressurised and then dunping oil..

When problems like this occur you need to have some testing done, there is no simple answer, this is a very complex electronically controlled engine and transmission, so when problems occur the very first thing you must have done is the system checked for fault codes and other basic checks like fuel pressure under load.
Here is what you need to do:
Get the OBD2 electronic engine control fault code test run with a scanner, both the memory test and the active engine running test, the dealer or a specialized shop are your best choice here unless you have a scanner that can read this data at home.
The next test is to have the fuel pressure tested, if it is lower than about 55 PSI there is a problem, the normal range is 55-62 PSI, if it is low first change the fuel filter and then retest the pressure, you will need a special fuel pressure test gauge kit, the test port is on the top of the engine in the pipe that supplies fuel to the injectors, looks like a tire fill valve. It would likely be cheaper to just have a shop run the tests of the OBD2 electronic engine control system and the fuel pressure test all at once, the cost will be about 1 hour labor time, labor rates vary widely by area and state so check locally for you best estimate. Personally I like the dealer, they know the car in and out and are always the best choice for quality service on this car line. Any Honda or Acura dealer can do the testing.

have you found an answer for this yet? I have the same problem. When I open the door the alarm doesn't make noise but the light flash and it makes a ticking noise like the hazard lights are on. I love this car but I can't figure this out! It still turns on and after 4 min the lights stop flashing but if I open the door it starts flashing again. Let me know if you got a answer to this.
