If you had to "reset" the timing as you say, there is a chance that major valvetrain damage has occurred and a cylinder leak-down test should be performed to measure cylinder sealing. also there is a possibility the timing was not set according to exacting procedure which sounds like your symptoms. These are interference motors which can collide internally if timing skips jumps.
Remove steering wheel and steering column in 1992 acura legend
first , as you try to turn on the ignition , move the steering back and forth to release the pressure on the lock tab on the steering shaft
next you will have to install a safety pin to stop the air bag going off
there are 4 bots that hold the lock assembly onto the shaft but you will need a grinder to get the bolts out as they have no heads
it is easier to remove the steering column complete from the car to replace the switch
it is not really a diy job unless you have a workshop manual and some mechanical experience
Engine timing setting
That's a problem. There is a specific procedure for installing your timing belt in the factory manual. All marks must be exactly right.
