I had my car battery replaced and now i open the
I have heard of this from various different car owners. One Mercedes owner didn't even know he had an alarm for 4 years. If you don't have the original key fob, you will have to get your solution from the nearest dealership. They can probably solve your problem over the phone. Good luck, my friend, Dana
Check engine light comes on
p0420 is set when the convertor is unable to store oxygen in the minerals used in the convertor. the lack of oxygen to mix with the exhaust gases causes the O2 sensor to set the code. if the O2 sensor has been replaced the only other thing to do is replace the convertor. you can check with the Subaru dealer and let them run your VIN to see if you had one of the defective convertors.
What is the location of the FUEL AIR RATIO SENSOR
since that is a Boxer engine it will have one O2 sensor at the base of each exhaust manifold. and since it is newer than a 1996 it will have one or two more O2 sensors behind each catalytic converter so you will have three or four ( O2 sensors) fuel air ratio sensors you need to check if you are having a problem. the two at each exhaust manifold are the upstream and the ones at the catalytic converters are the downstream. hopefully that engine only has one catalytic converter going into one exhaust pipe. the exaust manifolds are under the engines cylinder heads (under the engine).
When driving the car it
Hi you have to unplug the fuel pump relays in engine fuse box (the 2 green bigger square ones) then start the car and let it run until it dies, that will release pressure then just unclamp the hoses on either side. Once this is done tip upside down into a container to see if it contains water or best bet is just to replace it anyway as they are cheap.
Where do i add trasmission
Hi there should be a dipstick on the driver side of the trans near firewall, you have to add fluid through there

Windshieldwipergoestofartoleft
I think you can just take the wiper off and put it back in the right position. If ti feels like there is play in the wiper there may be other problems with the linkages. I hope it turns out to be an easy fix.
How to replace brake bulb?
Now days you pull the entire light assembly out, but releasing 4 or so thumb screws from the INSIDE of the vehicle. Upholstry has to be released for access. This design is MUCH more water tight than how lights used to be designed. This is not a big deal, after you have done it once.
Windshield sprayer fuse location in
Some of your fuses are located under the hood on the driver's side, right behind the battery. Underneath a black cover. The rest are on driver's side in the car, on the far left side, mounted behind a black cover, to the left of where your left leg goes when driving. Your sprayer may not be working if it is clogged up, common problem. Can you hear the sprayer work? I have 1996 outback and just cleaned out all my hoses and now the sprayer works fine.
My 2001 Subaru Outback doesn't
It just all depends on the fluid level. It probably needs changed around 50,000-60,000 miles. Sometimes, the dipstick is under the car. It is not an actual dipstick. It is much smaller but it is located on the side of the transmission. I would check down there to see if it is on the side.
