possible crack in vacuum line or one fell off

ok the SCAN tool shows why? did you scan first? if not this work will be impossible.. see why? eg; DTC errors wrong key comm errors to SKIM SKIM dead. etc..... i have an innova 3160 (at home) that scans and works 100% for all passive scans and all factory codes. (some tools dont do jeep codes) buy the tool or tow car to any ASE mech to do same he will. after checking all fuses first. the ASD relay caused the stall. or no start. if the realy drops cranking the scan tool told you why there are 8 reasons, stated . see all 8 here, http://www.fixkick.com/Jeeps/ASD.html security reason is but 1 of 8 reasons, no scanner no joy , on todays cars. and is not expensive, about 1hrs shop labor and you have a tool.

Your best bet is to buy a Haynes or chiltons manual for your vehicle. It will have the locations of the sensors as well as a wealth of other ideas and short cuts. I Purchased one for my Dakota thru ebay for about 10 dollars.

Location of oil pressure sender unit depends on what engine you have. There should be one wire going to sender, and if it has come off, gauge will read zero. 4.0 inline 6 has sender low on passenger side of engine, above the starter.

Did you change oil before starting after sitting 6 months? Oil goes bad just sitting, because moisture condenses in the oil pan, which leads to acid formation that can etch main and rod bearings. Best advice is get a mechanical oil pressure gauge and hook it up where electrical unit is now to check if your oil pressure is really low or not.

If gasoline engine, nothing needs resetting.

Check battery condition and connections (dirt, corrosion, tightness, acid level) to start with.

ill guess you mean it cranks perfectly and will not start. or same but runs for 3 seconds and stalls. is the ASD relay closing? cranked? or closes cranking as it should. but drops out mid cranking? well if it drops out , that means the ECU saw a failure. up to 8 reasons, all seen with any scan tool (obd2, jeep) http://www.fixkick.com/Jeeps/ASD.html each of the 8 ways (upto) can be seen and then check that cause. lets say the CMP is dead, so you get code 54? if luckly this can work, (weak methods) Key trick is (On/off/On/off/On/ ) see CEL (MIL) flash 2 digit codes now... but that key off , can erase codes !!!!!!!!!! case in point spark lost.

Did u try unlocking the passenger door with the key?these are very common for the drivers switch goin bad

On your question.
Put the KEY in the Passanger door lock cylinder and turn.
If stop Flash will start ok.
If Not Do de same in the Rear Gate door.
It will deactivate the Factory Alarm.

since the computer is only supposed to send fuel and spark signals in reaction to input info, unless a wire in the harness is either grounding or crossing into an output wire, i'd think it's safe to assume the computer is doing that internally. Another reason is that if it were a wiring problem, pretty likely it would not run well after you did get it started.
The only thing I'd do aside from replacing the computer is to unplug all the sensors one by one while it is acting up, to get an idea about wether the errant signal is coming from a sensor or internally.
Likely you can get another computer from a scrapyard.for lots less than a new one. Since this is a "guess" repair, you may want to try that.

You have a mess on your hands .If you ever want to store any kind of gas engine you need to put fuel stabelazer in the gas and run it for for some time at high speed conduitions as well as low speed before you walk away from it . The best advice I can give is remove the air cleaner get it all off the top of the engine.Take some HI test gas poor an ounce or 2 the engine see if you can get it running and keep it running for 30 sec if you can get that out of it .It WILL WORK . Then do a complete tune up all wires cap rotor pcv plugs check belts the hoses belt tenisioners radiator antifreeze engine oil transmission oil keep pouring gas down the bearral then start with the carb cleaner and injector cleaner if it runs for any extended time.Your not supposed to do things like this to engines if you expect them to run.

is this as spindle or the front prop shaft. why not read all steps in the FSM for this car. posted like 200 times now, ever search? jeep, zj, post 201 click diffs here. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service 2nd page shows prop shafts. RTM then ask questions not clear there. or at alldata.com or at real FSM page here. https://www.techauthority.com/en-US/Pages/Home.aspx FSM means real OEM factory service manual.

If there is no power going to the sensor, it could be a wiring or computer issue, the computer could be sending an actual problem or the sensor could be faulty and therefore disabled. Try unplugging your battery for about 15 minutes and then trying again, this will clear the computers codes. If that works however, you probably will need to replace the sensor as the issue will most likely return.
