BLUE SMOKE FROM AUDI RS6 ON DE ACCELERATION AND
General rules of thumb:
Low speed engine on acceleration with smoke in the exhaust plume = worn piston rings
High speed engine accelerating (spooled up turbo) with smoke = oil form turbo bearing and/or piston rings
Engine on over run (coasting down, foot off the gas) with smoke = oil from valve guides.
VW/Audi make good engines with tight tolerances so none of the above should apply at 62K miles; just make sure that the oil (the right oil) and oil filter are changed regularly.

Toyota tazz starting to use water no water leaks about 1 litre in about 2 to 3 weeeks
replace the thermostat as it is essential for correct operation. Have a pressure test done on the coolant system and check for leaks in the radiator --rear and sides of the engine and in the cabin around the heater core.. Check radiator cap as it may not be operation correctly and allowing the water to be drawn back into the radiator on cooling down. Check the hose from the reservoir back to the radiator cap as if it is cracked or broken the water will not be drawn back to replace what was pushed out when hot. Have a compression test done to check for gasket and head cracks.
