Why isn't my 1990 lexus ls400 not getting a spark after sitting overnight?
Thats a hard one,it could be a bunch of things sensers, opening, closeing, getting stuck,I am not a mechanic, but I have had about every model made,I have wholesaled many units, and if something would go wrong it happen to me,there is a lot of electronics on that car, there very nice to.It just sounds like a senser not opening or not closeing,Just stuck.I would start in getting a meter put on it while it's running and a complete check out, then you'll be able to have a starting point. They'll be able to tell if it's some kind of electronic problem like a sensor, and there are plenty of those on it.Fuseable link, not working porperly, map sensor,I would start from there. When something shuts down like that, like a sensor ora link, you'll be able to tell.and it is not that exspensive to have done.Call the dealership and ask them how to get the code out of it,sometimes it's like turning the key back an forth like 3 times,a caddillac gives it threw the radio,a chrysler gives it threw the parking light.Etc.sorry I was not to much help.
