Without disconnecting the ECM. Try disconnecting the battery. Both negative and positive for about 30 minutes.

I believe you posted twice, check fuses like I mentioned before. You may have a main fuse that is blown, these are often under the hood. If it's not coming out of park, this could also be a symptom of the fuse because the brake pedal safety switch is not working without power. Usually a car wont shift out of park without power.

May be in security mode, you may need computer reset. Not sure, just a guess.

remove the back seat and dust panel i believe the lexus trunk latch was equipped with an escape ring.you can use a broom handle to pull the ring down

Sounds like the linkage may have been detached when the mirror was replaced.

You can buy a cheap battery charger that plugs into the lighter socket that will allow you to charge the battery enough to operate the trunk release.

Each window has a pressure sensor that must be reset each time the battery is disconnected. My wife has an '04 RX330. According to the owner's manual for '04, to reset the pressure sensor for a window, bring the window down half-way, using the control on the same door as the window and then raise it back up, holding the up position on the control for 1 second after the window is all the way up. On the '04, this brings window control back to driver's side module.

Check your power steering fluid level. It is probably low. Add power steering fluid only. And do not over fill it.More is not better.

The regulator in the window is what the problem is. You will have to take the door panel off to replace the regulator.

Not really i think your right, it sounds like both motors went bad a quick little test i always do is hold switch down and bang on the inside of the door at lower front of door and sometimes it shakes motor and it starts working then i know for sure its a motor, this save cuatomers money , they dont pay to remove panel and testing,try it . hope this helps.

IT was the switch in the glovebox. Didn't even know there was one there, but it is and it will lock out the dash trunk switch if not properly set. It was probably bumped when they changed out the interior air filter.

no there is not really a downside dealers are good it doesn't really matter who does it but lexus is more familiar with lexus vehicles than toyota because they specialize in it but something like that is simple .

U do not have to use synthetic oil but I recommend u do if u plan to drive the car for 100,000 miles or more, syn oil almost eliminates engine wear, if u use it change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles

1. With your car OFF, place your key in the ignition and turn to "On". Do not start the car.
2. Find the odometer button and press until it reads the total odometer setting, (not the Trip A or Trip B setting).
3. Turn the key to OFF.
4. Place your finger back on the odometer button, press and hold. At the same time, turn the key back to "On".
5. Hold the odometer button in until the MAINT REQD light goes out...should take about 8-10 seconds.
