03 gs 300 the hood will not lock
Either your cable has seized in the open position, or the lever it pulls on has. Have someone sit in the car and gently pull and release the hood release while you spray a penetrating fluid on the cable and the latch it activates. Then try to move the hook portion of the latch by hand.

Drivers door lock will lock but not unlock with
Your door lock actuator is malfunctioning.
Since yours is a coupe your going to have to unbolt the window from the regulator, remove the 2 10mms on the left side of the door and pull that side of the regulator out of the way. then there are 3 T30 to-rx by the door latch that you need to remove, a cable that you pull off that connects your exterior door handle to the lock actuator and unplug the actuator. Then you can shimmy it out. The door pin and cables that attaches to the inside door handle need to be switched over to the new one.
Also if you have front side airbags they have to come off, but remember DO NOT turn the key on while the air bag is unplugged or you will have an airbag light that will have to be cleared. Also don't have the key on while you plug the airbag in or it supposedly goes off in your face, or so im told.
The battery went dead on
fit a new battery and get a scanner tool to reset the ECM/immobilizer
mobile mechanics should have a scanner for the job

Replace purge valve on my 2003 lexus gs300
The purge valve is mounted in the engine compartment, probably on the firewall. It is held on by two bolts. It has an electrical connector and two vacuum hoses and looks like the pic below. . Release the connector and unscrew the two bolts. Move the vacuum lines from the old valve to the new one. Bolt the new valve down and connect the wiring harness.
