Codes P0983 and 0986 trans will not shift into
u need to blow the water out of all the wire harness connectors going to the transmission and the connector at the transmission case itself, u have water in one of the wire connectors, you will need compressed air to do this properly.
Air filter, 2005 lexus es330
To the right of the engine there is a large rectangular plastic box which houses the air filter (just above the battery) On the right end of this housing there's two silver colored bolts, remove these bolts with a ratchet, extension and socket. Lift top of housing (lid) up from the right end - you'll see it swivels from the left end. Slide out used filter and slide in new filter. After making sure filter is seated properly, replace bolts.
Making a whining noise under the hood... Water
Carefully place a piece of wood (sawed off broom handle) onto the area the noise is coming from, then place your ear onto the other end of wood handle - you'll be able to hear everything that's happening within your engine or component; similar to a stethoscope.

Use a flat tip screwdriver to pry-back the door a little while shinning a flashlight into the ashtray, use another flat customized piece of metal or coat hanger to pry the pack of gum loose as the door opens. You'll find the gum pack or item has wedged the door shut - when loosened the door will open.
Maintainance required
nothing wrong that is an oil change light. placed the odometer in trip a then turn off key. hold trip reset down then turn key on at the same time and hold while watching these sybles go away ----- then milage will come back on and light should go out.
Keyless Remote entry is not
Anywhere that sells Duracell batteries such as a hardware store should be able to mach it. Approx cost 6-10 dollars. Hope this helps
Sympton of a blown head gasket
You need to do a pressure test on the cooling system ,and maybe use some dye and use a black light to check the area you believe the leak is at . Hope this helps
