Did you check the fuse? It may have a separate fuse then the AC and GPS. For some reason its broken I'd look online for a used car radio.

get the link at parts store and cut out the old link and solder in the new one.

Check the main alt fuse in the fuse block next to the battery. It is a large 120 amp fuse.

Check your belt, make sure it is tight, then have a reliable auto center load test your charging system.

Not from my understanding of the system. The seals retain oil splash, not pressure. They should be replaced regardless, if they are leaking as the oil will eventually damage the timing components.

Check your key for wear and try your spare key. Keys are made of soft brass and the teeth wear as the car ages.You can have a perfect brand new key cut to code if your key is worn or damaged, but try your spare first to see if this is the cause..



If the car is parked with teh wheels offset the steering wheel lock can also put pressure on the key system so try rotating the wheel slightly right or left
