1998 Lexus Gs 400 spark plug replacement
well you have to take the spark plug wires off ONE AT A TIME only o you
wont mess with the timing and then use a spark plug wrench and replace
them one by one replacing the wire as you go
Replacedd starter now the car is running hot
Your overheating problem is unlikely to have anything to do with a replacement starter.
It's more likely that your car has since developed a radiator/cooling system/ head gasket fault

Instrument panel not working
On most models the gauges get power from the same fuse the warning lights do. So it could be a problem with the printed circuit board on the instrument cluster.

I have a Toyota Aristo
First of all you need to access the Suspension Electronic Control Unit (ECU) using suitable diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to pull out all DTC's memored. DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code.
Then you will bu full informed about the root cause of the problem, and you will be able to repair & replace bad pieces and reset the Suspension ECU. Then the suspension height light will turn OFF, and you will have correctly height adjustment.
I suspect bad front or rear chassis height level sensor or bad supplly wires, but without scanning the Suspension ECU is hard to say. Anyway you can take a look under chassis at the front and rear chassis height level sensors & supplly wires, and clean all connections contact pins using suitable electrical contacts cleaner spray.
Let me know about found DTC's. I will kindly assist you to fix the problem. Good Luck!

Wife lives in california, engine
You should be able to find the code by putting the key in the ignition and turning it to the on position (not starting the car) and then turning it off....On-off-on-off-on within 5 seconds and where your odometer reads should show the codes such as p1604 as with my truck

I failed the emission test
A code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty spark plugs or wires
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
Faulty fuel injector(s)
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s)
Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
Faulty camshaft position sensor
Defective computer
Possible Solutions:
If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.
If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.
Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.
Hope helps.

Car alternator has been replaced
Sounds like you have bad wiring or some other electric draw somewhere. You need to do a parasitic drain test, you have a hot wire somewhere, that grounds out and drains your battery,
so the above test might not find it, if it is not grounding out when
you do your checking.

In my 1998 Lexus 400GS,
There is something that is causing it to bind when it closes all the way. It automatically will open if it binds up. Check to make sure that it is not binding. You might want to grease the tracks that the roof slides in.
