Check the wheel speed sensor it could be dirty with metal shavings or crusted brake fluid not allowing it to work properly

If you have no reverse, you have a problem. Try changing the trans filter and fluid. While the trans pan is off for filter change, add a bottle of Lucas trans conditioner to the pan before reinstalling the pan. Refill with correct fluid to correct level. That's your cheapest bet. Trans needs service every 60,000 miles
