Replaced factory radio with aftermarket radio, now heat, ac, radio, controls not working (checked fuses, none blown)

was this a hack job?> cutting wires. (cutting harness wires?) or did you use those nice install kits with the connector pig tails that find the factory harness connector. if you messed it up, only the FSM can save you now. read the schematics. see ZJ here http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service no electrical tape allowed (heat shrink) no wire nuts (horror to max on cars) no cannibal splices. (the cut in to factor wires, nasty they are) or it can be bad.

How do I find out if the fuel filter is clogged in my 05 Turbo PT Cruiser? After running out of gas (and now with a full tank) the engine starts up great drives for several miles then chokes up and di

run the fault codes and check for canister purge valve solenoid fault . IF the filter is blocked it stays blocked . What you have is a problem that when the engine requires sufficient fuel there isn't enough and so it dies . After stopping what ever is causing the shortage is relaxed and so it starts and goes until the problem unit is activated again (Vacuum in the fuel tank)

Gave it a tune up cleaned the aic valve what is it it isn't that bad it feels like just a little miss

this is called misfire. what engine, options,? 4L, ? what? misfire can happen at many operational mode. parked, driving , at any time. so when does yours miss. only at idle, cruise , accel. , wide open throttle (or all times) does it miss hot engine. or cold or both. IS THE CEL lamp out running? (but for sure on key on, not started.) does the engine reach and old 180F more more.. it must, or the . thermostat is bad. fix that first on all cars. made. first. if all that is ok, i then scan the ECU.

1999 cougar voltage regulator needs checked how do I do this

Put a multimeter on dc. Place the probes on the battery terminals. You should see between 13.2 and 14.8 volts with the engine running. Do this at idle and while you rev the engine too be sure the voltage regulator is not under or over charging the battery

IGNITION COIL BURNS UP IN MY 1997 CHEVEY SILVERADO

a jeep Silverado? is this a motor swap? franken jeep. (blue box says Cherokee)_ just one? coil? or 2? a key question. that..... any coil at anytime can burn up. this is called old age or entropy. nothing lasts for ever and for sure in a red hot engine bay. if a 2nd one burns up,that means the dwell is too high dwell is coil charge time. with EFI car,s this is closely controlled at all times !!! but there is this part called and ignitor. that can short (replaced points from IN-THE-DAY) if the ignitor shorts, the coil primary will burn up. fast. key on. to get help, post what engine you have, chev offers many as an option and they all work differently (diff, EFI)

Brakes not working

The front portion of the reservoir has fluid used for the front brakes which provide the majority of the vehicles stopping power. There is a valve that is supposed to shift to isolate the front and rear brakes when this occurs but it doesn't always work as designed. You have lost all the fluid in the front brake system. This is due one of these possible issues: Broken brake line Broken brake hose from line to caliper Leaking caliper seal You need to find and repair the leak, refill and bleed the front brake system to get the vehicle back in service. IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE IN ITS CURRENT STATE!!!
