Water leaking from the back passenger side of the block between engine and transmission
Unlikely it is emerging from the joint between the engine and transmission but probably emerging from somewhere nearby and appearing to come from there.
There is often one or more core plugs at the back of engine blocks and cylinder heads as well as along the side. These are the things Americans call freeze plugs that sometimes corrode through. It could be one of those and the one in the block is sometimes not quite entirely covered by the transmission so a leak there could appear to be from where you say.
Unless there is good visibility and strong light it is better exploring with a dry finger a little at a time until the true source is found. This is usually made easier by using a tool to pressurise the cooling system.

Where is location of starter on 89 Cadillac eldorado?
Follow the positive battery cable to the starter. It will be at the rear of the engine, down low, next to the junction of the engine and transmission. That is where the starter turns the engine over, by engaging the engine's flywheel-which is at the rear of the engine.

My 1984 cadillac eldorado is running too rich
Can't adjust anything-- it is fuel injected
May be able to adjust the TPS Sensor, but
I doubt that will be part of the lean codes
or whatever you have
May have to mail the injectors away to be cleaned
& flow tested
Have to check for OBD1 Codes, first
Have to check, test & possibly replace the oxygen sensor
Have to test the CTS -coolant temp sensor, to make sure it goes
into closed loop & you have control over the fuel delivery
Too lean-- is either a RICH condition being corrected by ecm
or a vacuum leak & thus lean condition
Many other items & reasons as well
You will need vehicle experience with OBD1 Systems
& an understanding of the DFI Fuel System on the caddy
to work on it.
You say running too rich, what testing told you that?
Too lean & being driven rich, so that are the codes you see !
Dirty worn out injectors-too rich
Fuel Pressure regulator failed-too rich
There is good video on rebuilding a throttle body on
You Tube Video, you can watch & see about pressure
regulators & injectors on your type system
Check every vacuum hose in the engine compartment FIRST
for vacuum leaks
Do not forget about worn out & partially blocked exhaust converters
& clogged gas filters, not related maybe, but still have to be working
properly

Heater blows no heat
- check to see if you have voltage to your blower motor with key on and blower motor switch selected to a speed setting
- if you have voltage, then your blower motor is faulty
- no voltage means that you have a blown fuse, bad relay, bad fan switch, or bad blower motor resistor.

No heat but blows cold air
Does it turn warm when you are driving? If so, you are low on antifreeze. If it always blows cold, even while driving, check both heater hose sand see if they are warm. If they are, then there is a problem with the heater controls. If they are not, you probably have a blocked heater core. If you need further help, reach me via phone at

Theft system light comes car wont start
The theft light is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterperates this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hot wired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link explains it pretty well.http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

Have frost plug with pin hole leak, whats the best
Note how far the plug is recessed in its hole. You will want to tap in the new plug to the same depth.Use a hammer and small punch. Put the punch at the edge, not on the lip of plug, but out near the edge. Tap on it until it starts moving inward, the opposite side will be pushed out. Grab onto it with a pair of pliers and wiggle it out of the hole.Clean the recess of rust and dirt, place the new plug in and tap it in evenly to the depth of the old plug. It may help to use a socket that fits inside the plug as a driver to drive it in evenly.Keep an eye on the other freeze plugs. When one rusts through, others may follow. You should drain all the old coolant out, flush the engine and radiator, and put in new coolant, new thermostat too is a good idea. If rust is bad, consider a professional flush-they can do a much better job than a garden hose. Your radiator may need attention, too. Good luck.
