The Audi A6 2002 model I have started with the
I have the same problem - it is the central locking controller found under the passenger seat footwell carpet. If water has got into the footwell it will form a pool in the control unit. The connectors will rot after time and perhaps the unit PCB inside the non-waterproof casing may also be damaged.
It is not easy to get at this - remove the glovebox and wrench away at the moulded carpet and see if there are signs of damage (especially you are aware of water ingress).

I have a 2002 audi a6 quattro and has oil
If your car has oil cooling lines, what happens is expanding in heat, no leak, contracting, getting smaller, in cold, seal do not seal properly, and then leaks occur.
Please let me know what you find.

The amp gage runs close
Original equipment battery's can last for 4 - 5 years. It is an easy check at any local parts store to have them read the battery for CCA's, to see if the battery is indeed going bad or if the alternator is weak. As for taking the battery loose and clearing the Memory of any codes just shows you do have a problem because the code(s) keep coming back. The parts store also can check the codes for you for free and recommend a repair and or part you may need. .

How much for a 10000 mile service on a 2003 audi
If you take your car in for a 10000 k checkup they will check all fluids, tranny, rear end/front drive, washer, oil, radiator, etc. They will check all hoses and lines(vacuum). They will check all electrical and electronic components. They will check all operational functions, heater, AC, wipers...etc. In the long run it could cost you well into $600-$800 dollars.....that you don't have to spend. If your vehicle is running well and your satisfied with it, than the only thing you have to do is maintain it with an occasional oil change and tune up. Believe me, I've been working on cars, trucks, heavy equipment etc for forty five years. Save your money, especially nowadays and change your oil for 30 bucks, get a tune-up for another 50-100 bucks and keep the rest in your pocket, Thank you, Dana

P0431 code on audi allroad 02
Typcally caused by one of the front oxygen sensors or a bad ground associated with these sensors.Replace both front sensors with direct fit type NOT universal, because there may be a cracked wire and the universal sensor does not contain the complete wire harness. Direct fits, are about $20 more than universal fit type.
The O2 sensors have integrated heating elements that bring them up to the proper operating temperature. Code P0431 indicates that the O2 sensor on your driver side catalytic converter is not reaching the proper operating range. The O2 sensors are usually in the $150 range online.

How to adjust headlight alignment on Audi A6 2003
The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly,
behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator
support.
You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam
(separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and
lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal
adjustment screws as well
Park
your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height
from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams
and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same
bulb, only do it for the lows)
For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then
aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall.
If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.
For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

Sometimes can't get reverse gear Audi A6 2004 Auto 1.9TDi UK
Unless your shade tree mechanic is an Audi expert, go to the dealer who has all the books and diagrams that tell the tech exactly where to look. The other guy may want to replace something just to troubleshoot and the factory tech should know exactly what to replace or which plug is loose.
