I have hear Audis have
I would keep an eye out for oil leaks more than computer problems. Most oil seals are relatively cheap to buy, but the labor it takes to replace them can get very expensive.

Prob's with my Audi A6 2003 Auto 3.0 V6 (gearbox)
Doubt it as the fault suggests you need to look into the range sensor. If similar to Renault there is a switch on the gearbox that senses where the select lever is (at the gearbox end). If the display is wrong then the sensor needs looking at and either it will need to be adjusted into a set position by moving it, or perhaps the connector to it or wiring to/from it have a fault.

I have white smoke coming out from the exhaust of
Unfortunately you probably have a blown headgasket. You should not drive the car like this as it will further damage the engine. The parts and labor for this job are not cheap. You may want to phone around and get some quotes. I would ask for prices on the headgasket, themostat, timing belt and waterpump. All these things should be done as part of the job.
Hope this helps,
Dave

I'm getting 3 codes on my Audi A6 po118 Coolant
I have about 15 years experience with Audi/VW. The coolant issue is more like the result of the ECM coolant temp sensor failure. The Cat code might be the front oxygen sensor on that bank and not the front cat. If you need more information about this repair please fell free to contact me at
[email protected], I have over 30 years of automotive experience to assist you, thanks.
