Fault location = Shift Solenoid C
Probable cause = Performance or Stuck OFF

Had same problem.fixed mine by replacing what i think is the control modual located on the bottom of the headlight . Its about 3"by7" and looks like a hard driven or mini computer.u will also need a mini star pattern screw driver about six screws.to make sure thats the problem and to know if it malfunction n the reason, take the one out of ur good headlight n swap en n if ur bad one starts wrkn again.thats the problem.good luck n hope this helps

There is another lever at the front of the car that you need to release too. This is to prevent the hood flying open if you accidentally pull the release while driving. After you release the latch inside the car, go to the front of the car, near the Audi rings, in the center of the grill there is a small black tab that pops out when the internal hood release is pulled. Pull up on it and the hood will open. Let us know if that works.

Could be time for a tranny rebuild too. Check the linkages and transmission fluid levels first.

It sounds like your transmission needs a rebuild. It could also be a loose linkage, or low transmission fluid. Check both of those first.

Which instrument light? You mean the entire dashboard or a specific light? Please elaborate in the comments.

Could be that your tranny is going bad. Try changing the reansmission fluid first and see if the issue goes away. You may need a rebuild if that doesn't help

Have you checked to be sure the oil is properly topped off? If not start there.

It sounds like the linkage inside the door is broken. You'll have to remove the door panel and check the connections. Be sure and check your fuses first to be sure nothing is blown.

It sounds like you have a bad sensor, indicating the brake is engaged when it's not. Have you noticed if it tends to display the error when you go over bumps or turn sharply?

The yellow light is likely not related to the transmission. It's most likely due to something malfunctioning in the emissions control or brake system. You'll need to scan with a VAG COM to find out what the fault codes are that throw that warning.
