If somebody replaced the turbocharger with a new one, you must check up all command vacuum lines, the entire air intake system (air pressure pipes, intercooler, connections, EGR - throttle vane, ...), and also turbocharger and EGR command solenoid valves (three pieces). Sounds like a cracked piston ring to me. If you didn't do a re-ring when the head and turbo work was done, you probably should have. Now it may be too late.

Most likely the idle air control valve is dirty or defective.

LOOK BEHIND FOR A YELLOW GREEN 2,5mm CABLE AND U FOUND THE RELAY.I CANT REMEMBER THE EXACT POSITION ..SORRY!!ALSO CHECK THE 20AMP FUSE AT THE FUSE BOX AT THE LEFT!!LET ME KNOW

One problem could be the compressor clutch. Turn on you engine of course. Turn on the A/C. Locate your compressor and watch it. Does the clutch engage who can see it. You may hear it click, but is it rotating the pulley. Clutch can still cost ya but not as much as a whole unit. Hope this helps. Please let me know. Jim S

If it has recently started to do this it might be due to a faulty gear selector or a collapsed torque convertor. Looking through the responses to othe similar issues in other cars it seems that in the States there are devices built in that prevent the engaging of gears if the brake laights have failed. EASY FIX HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH MY AUDI A4 2002 JUST LAST WEEK.....WILL BE ONE OF THE CONTROL MOTORS FOR AIR FLOW...UNSCREW THE 4 OR 5 SCREWS THAT HOLD THE GLOVEBOX IN PLACE TAKE CARE TO UNPLUG GLOVEBOX LIGHT WHEN LIFTING OUT...NOW YOU WILL SEE ALL THE CONTROL MOTORS RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF YOU...EACH ONE CHANGES THE AIR FLOW ...THE ONE FOR THE WINDSCREEN IS THE ONE NEAREST TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR..UNPLUG THE WIRING CONNECTOR UNDO THE 2 SCREWS NOTING HOW THE MOTOR SHAFT ENGAGES...EASY....IF YOUR UNSURE WHICH CONTROL MOTOR IT IS TURN ON YOUR BLOWERS AND TEST EACH ONE..SIDE VENTS, DEMISTER,ETC...TRY AND GET A SECONDHAND CONTROL MOTOR FROM SCRAP YARD...DEALERSHIP PRICES JUST A JOKE.. FOR A CHEAP TINY MOTOR NOT MUCH BIGGER THAN A MATCH BOX OVER A £100 SCRAP YARD £5 POUNDS...........HOPE THIS WILL BE OF SOME HELP TO YOU...

Sounds like you have a cable problem take it to a garage.These are very tricky to replace and expensive.

UNDER THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL COVER.U MUST TAKE OUT THE COVER PARTIALLY IF U WANT BUT U MUST TAKE OUT THE WHEEL!!!

you lucky person,you have fitted at factory, a speed warning buzzer,which you can set yourself, to give you a warning that you are exceeding the limit(you set)NOW, i cannot, for the life of me, remember how to set it, but it is in the handbook.
