What oil should i use in summer (buffalo,ny) for a
5W30 is perfectly fine all year (I'm in Binghamton and run that in my 99 A4). On the V6 as well, you don't need to run synthetic oil. The turbo engines require it, but for a V6 you're fine on conventional oil.

A4 2.0fsi idling highg
Possible problem could be failure of the vacuum link that should maintain the RPM when the a/c is turned on. Open the bonnet to check for any loose tubing/ wires.

Hi i have a audi 80 1.6 petrol 1994, oil and water
Is it overheating? Is the oil in the top of the radiator? It is not a freeze plug, it would be leaking water/ coolant. Check to see if steam comes out the exhaust after it has been running a minute. To be sure, take it to a radiator shop, they will do a compression check and tell you which cylinder it is, it is most likely a head gasket, but if you don't have any of those symptoms, it might be the transmission cooler in the radiator leaking,(rare). If you have water in the oil, then we got something more serious. Check it out.

1994 audi80 petrol oil and water mixing.
How did you determine that there is petrol in the mix? Oil and water mixing will show grey on the oil dipstick. Clear indication that you have a blown headgasket. Get the cylinder head off, have it resurfaced(at an engineering shop), new headgasket, reassemble, and Bob's your uncle you're under way again.

Engine Overheated
surely you mean a water leak from the radiator??
it is a simple fix,but pricey for parts,if its the radiator,
ask for a pressure test before any work to ascertain exact leak area.

Procedures to change engine oil on 1997 Audi A4
the long answer is...put engine flush in oil, run for about 1 hour, switch off/remove key, then remove splash guard from under the engine (best done when car on ramps)then remove oil filler cap and drain plug on sump(oil pan).whilst draining into an empty can with the side cut out(drip tray) locate oil filter and punch a hole in the side of it with a screwdriver, and unscrew it.
Wipe oil onto the rubber seal of the new filter and screw onto carrier.hand tight only.
then replace sump plug washer(copper/fibre)and replace using a 6"long ring spanner and do up tight.
(max pressure of palm of hand)
put in about the same amount of oil that came out, replace oil filler cap and start engine.
check for any leaks, replace splash guard and lower car to level surface, turn off engine, leave for 60 secs, then dip for oil level and top up to midway on dipstick,
job done....
use 10/40 semi synthetic oil.
