which engine, we cant guess it.some are diesel and have no spark plugs.x2, some engines have distributors if yes, the high voltage spark wires, clearly go to the spark plugs.on newer gas engines, they have coil pack oreven COPS. coil over plugs. and those must come off to reach the spark plugs.some cars have coil pack, see those HV wires, same dealthere, covered all classes of engine. one post.dizzycoil pack 1 or 2.COPS2001 line up1.3 L M13A I4 (petrol)1.5 L M15A I4 (petrol)1.3 L I4 (diesel)case in point M15see this photosee these, its a mix of coil packs and cops.called wasted spark cops.they fire on pairs with wasted spark setup.1 and 4 fire together, as clearly seen above.the HV sides are wired in SERIES to do that magic.nexg time post country and real engine name.we cant guess, either. here, on the WWW !

lots of engines used world wide on Swifts must we guess engine and country>? par for course here. its at the large hose that gets hot first. easy huh?> unless it never gets hot. ever.... ooops. 1.3L, 1.5L or 1.8L, and 1.3L diesel M13, M15, and the 1.8l is common in USA. is yours? i roll the dice and land , 1.8L X marks the spot. where hot water exits engine.

the FSM book covers this. (ill do the full tank pull... as you never said the JOB!) its siphoned to near empty. (use a hand pump for fuel , sold at all boat center) do you need the FSM page quotes? on some cars there is an anti-spill roll over check valve at tank fill port making siphoning very hard. my answers are USA cars, on this USA forum.... and swifts vary big time world wide..... dig? quoted. (no smoking no open flames, outdoors best. no shop heaters of ANY KIND near) "tank pull steps. (sure drained)

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
2. Relieve the pressure from the fuel system. (in the FSM)
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
4. Remove rear seat cushion.
5. Disconnect connectors of fuel tank wire harness.
6. Hoist vehicle.
7. Disconnect fuel tank filler hose and breather hose from filler neck.
8. As fuel tank has no drain plug, drain fuel tank by pumping fuel out through fuel tank filler or fuel tank inlet. Use hand operated pump to drain fuel tank.
9. 1. Disconnect fuel pipe joints and fuel hose from pipes. For quick joint, disconnect it as follows:
      • Remove mud, dust and/or foreign material between pipe and joint by blowing compressed air.
      • Unlock joint lock by inserting special tool (part No. 09919-47020) between pipe and joint.
      • Disconnect joint from pipe.
   2. Remove fuel tank from vehicle.

I have a 2001 Suzuki Ignis and I have a similar problem. When I start the engine 5 beeps are heard and the hazard lights turn off and on with each beep. Also after I have been driving for about 45 mins 3 beeps are heard and the hazard lights turn off and on again. However my engine does not stop running. I have asked people about it and they think that it has something to do with a lose wire in the security system? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

have the computer checked for codes and data, it could be losing a reference pulse shutting down the system, either the sensor has an intermitant problem or it has become a temperature sensitive problem with the sensor or electrical connection. it could be a fuel pump problem as well which you have to have checked for pressure and volume.

1. battery is bad. (wont hold a charge ) wont stay at 12.6vdc rested
2. the alternator charage system is not staying at 13.3 to 15v running. any walfart volt meter answers that. fast. a $10 tool.
3. or parked, the battery drains overnight this is called Phantom Drain, we use an ammeter (same tool above)and find that. (a.k.a , dark current)

3 simple tests, and answer is now known. ask how. you you have 2 choices, test, or guess. one is cheap and other is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

is it a auto or manual ? if manual could be the clutch or syncro gears, if auto have the trans fluid level and condition checked

Carbon build up on the butterfly on throttle plate. However it also could be the choke coil bad

2001., 1.3L swift. it real name is M13a and knowing that you can google that. here ill do that now. if the scan tool is not saying is bad, its not. so>????? my second post here for same exact question, try searching?

over", "above" or "across" light.? please say what is light. is car driving funny, get car to suspension shop , for alignment check, light to me means too easy to turn steering. but others it might mean (me) car wants to wander and weave at speed. do tell.
